Ducks or Things with Wings for Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog for the 5th of October 2021

I am now a member of the Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog Design Team, which is another cool challenge as it means that I can use stuff from my stash! Let's Craft and Create Challenges are monthly and go live on the 5th of every month and you have until the end of the month to add your creations which can be anything goes plus an optional theme. So for this first challenge with Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog the theme is
Things with Wings.

So here is my card:

I chose to use the ducks from You Lucky Duck Clear Stamp Set by the wonderful Irina at La-La Land Crafts
I have stamped the ducks on to X-Press It Blending Card and then coloured them with Copics before fussy cutting them out (I'm actually getting into fussy cutting now! Although give me a die anytime!!)
I also used the Garden Trellis Die, Grass Patches Die and I stamped the sentiment on one of the Long Flags Die.

Here is the layout of my card before I stuck everything down:

As I mentioned, I have coloured the image with Copics markers, but I will have to complete this list later this week as I seem to have left my colouring notebook with all my colours down at our beach house over the long weekend!
  • white of ducks - TBD
  • duck beaks and feet - TBD
  • leaf - TBD
  • water droplet - TBD
  • rain boots - TBD
  • flower - TBD
Here are the ducks before I fussy cut them out:

Then here are the ducks fussy cut:

After I fussy cut and then die cut the trellis and grass patches out of green cardstock and then the long flag from a pale blue cardstock, I stamped the sentiment using my MISTI and Nautical Blue Memento ink (I think), then I arranged everything on a white slim line card from Envelope Solutions before I stuck it all down.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Monthly Classes and Bonus Classes from the awesome Alyce at Kit and Clowder. I also drew some inspiration from the La-La Land Crafts Blog.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:

(2) Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #55 - Anything Goes as long as there is a critter or two!

There is inspiration from the rest of the Let's Craft and Create DT over on the Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, so please pop over to everyone's blog by clicking on their name. We always appreciate a comment or two! :) You can also find out what other challenges are out there, which could give you some ideas for your card stash.
