Red, Pink and/or White for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #216 on the 5th of February, 2025

 

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Red, Pink and/or White

I have been busy baking for my daughter's 18th party! So I made a card using an image that I had coloured recently as she fit the theme!

So, here is my card:

This Peony Fairy is part of a Beginner's Character Class by the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder. I digitally printed the image on to XPress It Blending card and then coloured with the Copics pens that Alyce recommended.

I then added a background from one of Alyce's fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close-up of the colouring before the background was added:

I then trimmed the coloured image with my paper trimmer and adhered it to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.

Bella Bear with Heart by Polkadoodles for Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #247 on the 2nd of February, 2025

Hi All!

Wow what a crazy weekend! Thankfully one of my kids has gone back to school this week, but the other is turning 18 soon and she has a friend visiting, plus we are having a High Tea Party in 40 degree heat this weekend! So I am writing this early after doing a heap of baking!

Anyway, welcome to my post about my card for challenge #247, the 2nd of February 2025 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Here is my card:

Prize is 3 digital images (no bundles)

I chose Bella Bear with Heart which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and die cut with Double Stitched Arches Die from La-La Land Crafts, before colouring with the following Copics markers:

• bear - E11, E13, E15, E18, E000, E00, R20, C7, C9
• pink - R000, R00, R11, R32, R35
• grounding - W1, W3, W5
• background - 0, B000, B00, B02

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

I then adhered a piece of paper from "Say it with Flowers Paper Pack" by La-La Land Crafts (unfortunately it is no longer available) on to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions. Then finished with adhering the coloured image.
