and here is a photo from the side so you can sort of see the inside:

This is Irina's design and all the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

The sentiment was stamped using Onyx Black Versafine ink. Everything on the inside of the card was adhered with Art Glitter glue. The front is a mix of foam tape and Art Glitter glue.

Here is a photo of the inside with the card flat:

Cows Swinging for Love to Craft Challenge #86 for 1st of May, 2025

For challenge #86 for May/June 2025 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I made a card from the La-La Land Crafts Colour & Create Virtual Retreat in early February and we used stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts

Here is my card for this month:

For this card, everything was prepared for us and we just had to colour the images and then organise the card! :) This is Martha's design and all the products used on this card are mostly already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

The three cows were stamped and we used the following Copics:
  • fur - E000, E00, E11, E13, E15, E17, E18, R21, white gel pen
  • hooves - W1, W3, W5

Vintage photo and mowed lawn Distress Oxide ink were used for the grass patches/leaves and tree branches. Everything was put together following Martha's instructions.
I had a few problems with the foam tape behind the Countryside paper and had to pull it off the gold cardstock behind, causing a bit of a stretch and rip of the paper - so I have slightly moved the grass patches and clouds from what Martha suggested!

I totally forgot to take a photo of the cows after they were coloured.

This card is actually a swinging card! So there is a brad hidden behind the popped up Countryside paper at the top.
Here is a photo of the inside of the card with the cows swung upside down:

Here is a photo of the card flat, showing the inside:

Here is another photo of the completed card with the front swung to the right and then to the left:

Add Flowers for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #218 on the 5th of April, 2025

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Add Flowers

So, here is my card:

When I thought of flowers I thought of Marci with Lilies from La-La Land Crafts. She was used in an album taught by Martha, so I have used Martha's colours from the class.

Here is a close-up of the colouring before she was fussy cut:

I also had the Side Lily Die and Bloom Vase Die from La-La Land Crafts which were both used in the album class - I really need to make the Album!!

I die cut the side lily three times and then coloured the parts with the following Copics markers: RV11, RV13, RV14, RV17, YG03, YG17, YG25, YG67, YR23, YR24.

Here is a photo of the flowers and the paper from Say It with Flowers Paper Pack which was from La-La Land Crafts, but is not available anymore:

I die cut the vase from blue card stock and die cut the word "bloom" from the same blue card stock and twice from white card stock. I layered the three "bloom" pieces together.

To make the card, I adhered the piece of the Say It with Flowers Paper Pack on to a Kraft square card from Envelope SolutionsI then adhered the lilies into the vase and adhered the whole arrangement on to the paper. I added the rest of the leaves and buds - I was going to add some acetate to the vase and make it a shaker, but I ran out of time (next time!!)
I adhered the bloom word art and then popped Marci with foam tape.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

Purple and Green for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #217 for the 5th of March, 2025

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Purple and Green

So, here is my card:

I was looking through images that had already been stamped and trying to fit the purple and green theme and came up with the idea of Swimsuit Marci swinging! I received Swimsuit Marci from La-La Land Crafts as part of a Mini Album Virtual Class, so I followed the colouring of the wonderful Irina, except I used purple (V22, V25, V28) and green (YG01, YG05, YG09) Copics, instead of the blue and pink.

Here is a close-up of the colouring before she was fussy cut:

I then adhered a piece of the Summer Vacation Paper on to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.
I die cut the Manger Die from Kraft cardstock and die cut the legs a second time, as I needed a bit more length! I die cut the Hello Swing Die also from Kraft cardstock - this die was originally from the March 2023 KOTM.
Then I adhered the manger together, with the extra legs and attached it to the card with foam tape. I attached Marci to the swing and used a combination of foam tape and score tape to attach a swinging Marci on to the card.

I stamped the sentiment from Marci on a Swing Rubber Stamp (also
originally from the March 2023 KOTMon to the card with Nautical Blue Memento ink.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

Deck The Palms for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #61 on the 1st of March 2025

For challenge #61 for March/April 2025 of the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog I used some of my products from La-La Land Crafts and based the design off a card that I created from the La-La Land Crafts Colour & Create Virtual Retreat in early February!

Here is my card for this month:

and here is a photo from the side:

This is Martha's design and all the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
The three Santas and palm tree were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics:
  • skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
  • red - R22, R24, R29, R39
  • turquoise - BG11, BG13, BG18
  • white/grey - W0, W1, W3, W5
  • palm tree - E40, E41, E43, E44
  • palm leaves - YG21, YG23, YG17
  • drink - RV63, RV66
I used B01 between Santa's legs and between the leaves of the palm tree, then I used glossy accents on the glasses, floatie and lights on the palm tree, then White Blizzard nuvo glitter drops on the Santa hats. As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up photo of the coloured images before I adhered them to the card:

I followed Martha's card design - I used vintage photo, tumbled glass and salty ocean Distress Oxide ink for the inside of the rum bottle and just the vintage photo for the sand.
I cut out some of the palm trees from the Summer Vacation Paper and then popped them up with foam tape, as was the sun. The inside of the rum bottle and Santas on the front were also popped up with foam tape. The palm tree was adhered to the card with Art Glitter glue.
I stamped the two sentiments on to white cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine ink and then the sentiments and black matting pieces were distressed with my scissors (even though I have a distressing tool somewhere!)
The sentiment on the front of the card was popped up and everything on the inside of the card was adhered with Art Glitter glue.

Here is a photo of the inside with the card flat:

Here is another photo of the finished card:
