Slalom Santa by Dr Digi for Winter Wonderland Challenge for the 7th of August, 2020

Welcome to our eighth challenge for 2020.

Sketch and Embossing

So here is my card:

I chose Slalom Santa for my image, which I digitally printed on to X-Press It blending card and then cut out using my paper cutter. 

I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:

• skin - E000, E00, E21, E11
• red - R32, R35, R37, R39
• pants - C3, C5, C7, C9
• boots - C1, C3, C5, C7
• skiis - E71, E74, E77, E79
• ski poles - E23, E25, E27
• brackets on boots - E23, E25, E27
• beard - C00, C0, C1
• white fluffy part of hat - C0, clear Wink of Stella
• gloves - C0, C1, C3
• snow - C00, C0, C1, BV00, clear Wink of Stella, colourless blender
• sky - YR000, R81, BV0000, BV000, B000, B00, BG02, BG45
• outline on image - BV00
• outline on paper - V28

I then adhered two pieces of paper - one from Mint Twist and one from Silly Season, both by KaiserCraft on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
I stamped the sentiment "Hurry up, Santa!" from Action Santa by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy in Versamark ink, so that I could then wet emboss it with Vanilla Sparkle embossing powder by Alison Ellis Design.
I also attached three rhinestones from KaiserCraft.
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Monthly Classes and Bonus Classes from the awesome Alyce at Kit and Clowder.
