I chose the digital stamp Butterfly Girl which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card. I have used my paper cutter to cut around my image, followed by colouring with the following Copics:

• skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
• eyes - BG53, BG57, BG49, 100
• lips - RV63, RV55, RV66, clear Wink of Stella
• nails - V17, clear Wink of Stella
• purples - V12, V15, V17
• blues - B12, B14, B16, B18, B000, B00, B01
• aquas - YG41, BG23, BG45
• yellows - Y02, Y15, Y38
• pinks - RV91, RV93, RV63, RV95
• background - BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV01
• outline - B18

I have adhered the coloured image on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes. The inspiration for the colouring was a mermaid from May 2016.

Here are some close-ups of the colouring: hopefully you can see some sparkle!

One of my kids asked why the hair was extending up and then commented that the girl was lying down! As the image just had a base outline of the face and I was trying something different, that is what I'm going with!
