October 2020 Not Just Cards Challenge for the 11th of October, 2020

It is my birthday today!! :) which is one of the reasons I am late - we also were away this week enjoying a school holiday break down at the beach! So I started a pencil colouring project while I was down there (as it rained a few days) but I didn't finish it, so I quickly did something else!!
Anyway.....

Not Just Cards is having a new challenge this month. The theme for the October 2020 Challenge is as usual: "ANYTHING GOES".
To join in the fun, click on the following link:

Here is my colouring and card for this month!

I have been "collecting" a few items from the awesome SSE bundles from the marvellous Irina at La-La Land Crafts. I have used the Three Pockets Die set to cut some X-Press It Blending card and then stamped part of the Floribunda stamp and Humming Bird from the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy Stamps using Memento London Fog ink and my MISTI. I then stamped the pocket stitches (using Elderberry Memento ink) and Birthday wishes (using Nautical Blue Memento ink) from the A Pocket Full Clear Stamp Set, also from La-La Land Crafts.

I have used the following Copics markers:
  • humming bird - Y11, YG00, YG06, B00, B12, B24, B28, V01, V04, E40, E41, E43, C1, C3, C5, C9, 100, white gel pen
  • leaves - G14, G07, G28
  • honeysuckle (or are they lupines?) - Rv21, RV23, RV25, RV29, E93, white gel pen
  • primrose - Y11, Y15, Y38, YR16
  • morning glory - BV00, V04, V06, V09
  • dahlia - RV00, RV63, RV04, RV34, RV21
  • background - G000, G00, G02
I have adhered the pockets and humming bird to a square card from Envelope Solutions. The pocket can accommodate a gift card!
I have of course drawn inspiration for the colouring from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her May 2019 Kit and Clowder Monthly Colouring Class. I have also drawn inspiration from the La-La Land Crafts blog.

Here are the close-ups of the images from the hummingbird and the pocket:

Also, since we have been back, William has not really left my side! So of course he was getting in the way as I was taking photos:

I would like to enter this into a few challenges:
Love to Craft Challenge #51 - October Anything Goes
Mix It Up Challenge Blog MIUCB#42 - Anything Goes + optional twist of Distressing - I have been trying to buy some Distress Oxide inks!

Prize is 3 images!

We were given the digital stamp Too Cute to Spook which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card. I also printed an extra bat image on to X-Press It Blending Card. I have cut a frame around the main image with my paper cutter, followed by colouring with the following Copics:
  • cat - C3, C5, C7, C9
  • cat nose - R30, clear shimmer pen
  • cat mouth and ears - R83
  • pumpkin - Y21, YR12, YR16, YR18, YG11, YG23, YG25, G07, clear shimmer pen
  • light in pumpkin - Y11, Y35, clear shimmer pen

  • ghosts - V20, V22, V25, RV04
  • hill - BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78
  • sky - V000, V01, V04, B12, B14, B63, B66, B69
  • outline - B66
I have adhered the coloured image on to a white card from Envelope Solutions
I coloured the extra bat the same as above, fussy cut it and using dimensional adhesive foam, adhered it above the bat from the main image.
I also printed the sentiment from Lil' Devil Marci from La-La Land Crafts - coloured it with V04, outlined it with B66 and then outlined the letters with purple Wink of Stella. I notice that you can only buy the rubber stamp now, although I used the digital version.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes.
