Dog Greyscale from Morgan's Artworld for Challenge #165 at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends on the 5th of September, 2021

Hi All!
Welcome to my post about my card for challenge #165, the 5th of September challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

I am a little slow posting tonight as it is Father's Day here in Australia and I have been busy all day after my son's first football (Aussie Rules) final, cleaning my house and making roast pork (with yummy crackling), roast veg (homegrown beetroots and homegrown Jerusalem artichokes, with potatoes, carrots and parsnips), then steamed broccolini and beans. My mum made gravy and then we enjoyed a Lemon tart for dessert (recipe from Better Homes and Gardens, think it needs a bit of tweaking!). We were joined by my mum, dad and sister, so three generations.

Anyway, here is my card:

I chose the digital stamp Dog Greyscale which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card. I have used my paper cutter to cut around my image, followed by colouring with the following Copics:
  • E00, E51, E53, E55, E57, E59, E79, R20
I have adhered the coloured image on to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes.

Here is a close-up of the colouring:

This is the first time that I have coloured an image that was printed in grey scale - it is a pretty cool technique and I think I may have to try it again!

North Pole by Polkadoodles for Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog in September 2021 - MLCCB #38 September

For my September; challenge with Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog I chose to finish some Christmas colouring from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and make it into a card.

Here is my card for this month:

This Kit and Clowder colouring class is from November 2016 and uses a cute image from Polkadoodles called North Pole.

Once I finished colouring, I trimmed the image and adhered it to a white card from Envelope Solutions.

I actually started this class a while ago and don't think I took photos at every stage, but here is a progression shot before I cut it out showing some sparkle on the reindeer noses (I added Wink of Stella!):
