Chibi Holly Coco by Stampers Delight for Winter Wonderland on the 3rd of September 2021

At Winter Wonderland this month, we are hosted by Stacey!
Welcome to our ninth challenge for 2021.

Our theme is:

Anything But a Card

So here is my card - I chose to make a gift card component to my card

The inside:

A side on view:

Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme of Anything But a Card.

We have Stampers Delights as our sponsor this month and Stacey chose 3 very cute digi stamps from Stampers Delights for us to use.

Prize:  2 images of your choice

I chose Chibi Holly Coco, which I have digitally printed with two of the sentiments on to X-Press It blending card and then cut out using my paper cutter.

I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
  • hair - E13, YR14, E15, E18
  • eyes - BG53, BG57, BG49
  • red - R24, R27, R29
  • green - G05, G07, G09
  • blue - B12, B14, B16, B18
  • blue pants - B95, B97, B99
  • grey/white - C0, C1, C3
  • brown shirt - E50, E51, E53
  • holly berries - R37, R59
  • holly leaves - YG25, YG67, G29
  • bell - reds and Y26, YR23, YR27
  • snow flakes - Twinkle Stickles
  • grounding - BV0000, BV000, BV00
  • background - BG0000, BG000, BG02
  • outlines - B18
I then adhered the coloured image on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions.
For the inside, I have die cut a pocket from a paper called Designer Squares Australian Christmas Animals by Jocelyn Proust (a paper pack that I picked up from Spotlight last Christmas) using the Left Pocket Die from La-La Land Crafts. Then I added a second sentiment that I outlined in B18 above the pocket.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Monthly Classes and Bonus Classes from the awesome Alyce at Kit and Clowder.

Here is a close-up of the colouring (hope that you can see some sparkle!):

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up Challenge #81 - Anything Christmas Goes with the Optional Twist of Add some Metallic

My latest creations....May

These little cards have been used for a while as gifts....but I thought that I should actually try and sell some! Especially as a lot of love and hard work goes into creating each one!
LaLaLand Crafts digital stamps of Marci and Luka are printed on to card and then hand-coloured with water colour pencils and Spica glitter pens. Then I include a little envelope from Envelope Solutions.
Here are some of the ones that have already been sent as gifts or samples:

Then here is another idea I had, where I cut out the hand-coloured image and adhere it to coloured card stock:

I have actually included samples of these cards in my PCF Team May Scavenger Hunt items, so if you participate in the May Scavenger Hunt and win, you will receive one of these cards!
These cards would actually make great Thank You cards or perhaps even little gift tags.

These cards will also be displayed in the La La Land Crafts Customer Gallery.

Once I decide on how to list these, I will post a link to the listing on my Etsy Shop: JemLou Productions.

Thanks for looking! :)
