Buttercup Cottage by SheepSki Designs for Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #245 on the 5th of January 2025


Hi All! Happy New Year!
Welcome to my post about my card for challenge #245, the 5th of January 2025 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Here is my card:

I chose Buttercup Cottage Image No 274 (but I notice that it is not available anymore), which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and die cut with Scalloped Squares Die from La-La Land Crafts, before colouring with the following Copics markers:
  • door - R24, R46, R59
  • door knob/jamb - E74, E77, E79
  • roof - E71, E74, E77, E79
  • stump/chimney - E41, E43, E44, E47
  • steps - T0, T1, T3, T5, E43, E44, E47
  • leaves - YG03, G24, G05, G07, G19
  • buttercups - Y11, YR12, Y35, YR16, Y38
  • windows - Y11, Y35, YR16
  • background - 0, B0000, B000, B00, BG01
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up of the colouring:

I then adhered the coloured image to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.
