New Creations make a Splash!

Here are my latest creations, based on this sketch from CardPatterns:

For both cards, I used three shades of blue card stock (DCWV), cut into 1 inch by 1 inch squares, inked on the edge with Aquamarine ink (Vivid!) and adhered to the card. Then I added some dark hydrangea waves with Papier dimensional paint. To the right of the card, I have adhered with pop dots a hand-coloured Mermaid Marci (LaLa Land Crafts), which is digitally stamped/printed on white card stock and coloured with water colour pencils and Spica pens.
Two jewels are added to the top right corner of the card.

The card on the left is a Kraft card and the card on the right is a square white card, both from Envelope Solutions.
Here is a close up of the mermaids:

I have not added a sentiment to the cards and the inside is blank....I have left it up to the giver of the card!
"Splash!" would be a great sentiment, or "Happy Birthday" or perhaps "Thinking of You!"

These cards are for sale in my Etsy Shop: JemLou Productions, click here for the link.
These cards will also be displayed in the LaLaLand Crafts Customer Gallery.

Thanks for looking! :)

  2. Super cute! This is a darling image, and I love how you've used the monochromatic blue squares as the "water". Thanks for joining us this week at Card Patterns!
