Morgan's Artworld - Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #123 for 19th of January, 2020

Hi All!
Welcome to my post about my card for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.
Here is my card:

The sponsor for this challenge is:
Morgan's Artworld

Morgan Fitzsimons is a British artist, illustrator and author. Born in the North of England in 1939, she has been drawing and painting since she could hold a brush. Morgan studied at the LJMU, gaining her NDD, A.T.D and BA.
Morgan is a traditional artist who works in many mediums and her artwork has been displayed all over the world. Morgan has also been involved in many art related and non art related industries. She taught in schools for 20 years and retired as Head of Special Needs. She has also developed and published educational packs and teaching aids as well as fictional work. She has been involved in designing costumes for various opera and theatre companies and was also a wildlife artist for several charities and organisations.

Prize is three images

I chose Wedding Digi 2 which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card and then fussy cut after I have coloured with the following Copics:
  • skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
  • eyes - G21, G07, G29
  • lips - RV14, RV17, RV19
  • hair - E33, E15, E18, E47 (E19)
  • earring - YR09, V25, V28
  • flowers in the hair - V22, V25, V28, YG07, G19, YR09
  • dress - B12, B14, B16, B18, G29 (beads)
  • bangle - G21, G07, G29
  • leaves - YG07, G19
  • pink flowers - RV11, RV14, RV17, RV19, YR09
  • background - BV000, BV00, BV02
  • outline - BV02
I have adhered the coloured image on to a blue card from my German stash. After much deliberation, I have stamped "Enjoy your BIG day" from Party Time by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy in VersaMark ink using my MISTI and then heat embossed with Vanilla Sparkle embossing powder from Alison Ellis Design (which I believe is no longer available as it has closed down).

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes.

Here is a close-up of the colouring :

As I was trying to take the photo of the finished card, a particular kitty was showing a lot of interest!!
This is William :)
