August 2022 Card Chain Challenge Reveal

Apologies, but life has just been crazy - we have had crazy cold weather and our study with my computer is on the cold side of the house, so it is just not a place that I want to sit!
So here is a very basic version of my post:

I signed up again for the Card Chain Challenge! Essentially you sign up and make a card that you send to the person before you in the sign up and the person that signed up after you, sends you a card!

For August, I made a card to send to Suze in NZ - this is wh
at I sent her:

Here are the options that we had to make the card:

Theme Options:  Legs / Fruit and Flowers / Friendship

Product / Technique Options: Acetate / Aperture

Here are some photos from a different angle so you can see the dimension and the sparkle from the glitter behind the acetate:

I have stamped Jumping for Joy Marci on to X-Press It Blending card using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then coloured with Copics.

I also die cut the Sun Smiles die and the Three Clouds die from yellow and white card stock, respectively.
The Celebrate die was die cut from gold and white card stock and then adhered together.

To make the shaker component, I die cut one of the stitched ovals from Double Stitched Ovals Die set from white cardstock and cut a piece of acetate to fit and used foam tape to add dimension for the chunky glitter - I think I added too much glitter as it didn't really shake that well!
I adhered a paper from the Celebrate Paper Pack to a white card from Envelope Solutions.

Here are some close-up photos:

As usual I found inspiration from La-La Land Crafts DT, who showcased some awesome projects on the La-La Land Crafts blog and as usual, from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
TBD

I hope that Suze likes the card!

Frame It for Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog on the 5th of September, 2022

Apologies, but life has just been crazy - we have had crazy cold weather and our study with my computer is on the cold side of the house, so it is just not a place that I want to sit!
So here is a very basic version of my post:

Anyway, for this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog we have the optional theme of

Frame It! Use a Frame

Here is my card:

Here is another photo:

I have stamped the critters from Best Day Ever from La-La Land Crafts with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and then coloured with Copics pens. There are some outline dies for this set: Best Day Ever Outline Dies, so I have used those!

I have die cut some white card stock using the Linked Squares die from La-La Land Crafts for my frame and used foam tape to give it dimension.

I have adhered a paper from the Celebrate Paper Pack from La-La Land Crafts on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions using double-sided tape. Then stamped the show-ground silhouette image from
Best of Times Clear Stamp Set from La-La Land Crafts using Nautical Blue Memento ink.

For the sentiment, I die cut one of the ribbons from Stitched Ribbon Dies and stamped the sentiment from Best Day Ever from La-La Land Crafts in Nautical Blue Memento ink.

Here is photo of the layout:

Here is a photo of two of the critters before they were die cut:

As usual I found inspiration from the La-La Land Crafts DT, who showcased some awesome projects on the La-La Land Crafts blog and as usual, from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes.

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
TBD

Apologies, but life has just been crazy - we have had crazy cold weather and our study with my computer is on the cold side of the house, so it is just not a place that I want to sit!
So here is a very basic version of my post:

Hi All!
Welcome to my post about my card for challenge #189, the 4th of September 2022 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Here is my completed card:

Our sponsor for this challenge is All Dressed Up:

Here's a bit about All Dressed Up:

Hi, my name's Wendy, founder of All Dressed Up. I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children (my inspiration behind the characters) - in particular, my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with trends and all things digital.

Day to day, I work as a textile designer working traditionally within childrenswear, fashion and interiors. Although my work is mostly digital, my work process remains hand-drawn which I hope comes across in my artwork.

All Dressed Up was created in 2013 as a place to share my digital stamps which back then was a whole new challenge for me. Since, I've been lucky to have discovered a whole creative community and welcomed the All Dressed Up design team who have been amazing to work with. Through our online community and Instagram, the team keep me on my toes to keep on drawing, creating and inspiring. My favourite thing is seeing how my characters are continually given brand new personalities!

On our Facebook and Instagram page we host regular tutorials, challenges (and freebies!) and is the real heart of our community. The stamps are available from the All Dressed Up Etsy shop which is continually updated on a monthly basis with lots of limited edition and seasonal stamps available in particular.

The All Dressed Up community is a friendly bunch (if I do say so myself!) and we would love for you to get involved, see your work and for you to share your stamping tips too! Do get in contact and be sure to visit our Facebook and Instagram pages to see what we're creating at the moment.

I chose Little Camp and I have coloured with Copics which I will add later.
I have cut out the coloured image using my paper cutter and then adhered to a white card from Envelope Solutions.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

I didn't even take a photo before I cut it out, but here is a close-up of the colouring:
