I chose Boo! I can see you, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and die cut with Scalloped Squares Die from La-La Land Crafts, before colouring with the following Copics markers:

• face/skin - E000, E02, E21, E11, R30
• purple (hair & dress) - V12, V15, V17, BV02, BV04, BV08
• cat - C1, C3, C5, C7, R81
• pumpkin - Y11, YR14, YR18, YG23, G85
• background - BV0000, BV000, BV00
• grounding - N0, N2, N4

Here is a close up of the colouring:

I used clear Wink of Stella on the sentiment and then adhered the coloured image to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.

Halloween Cats for Just Purple at Let's Craft and Create Challenge #212 on the 5th of October 2024

 

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Just Purple

I was trying to make one of the cards from the Halloween Card Class by La-La Land Crafts, but I ran out of time! However, I did manage to finish the front of the card!

So, here is my card:

I stamped the kitties from Purr-fect Halloween Clear Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card, then coloured with the following Copics:

• black - C1, C3, C5, C7
• green - YG23, G85
• orange - Y21, Y23
• pink - R81
• purple - V20, V22, V25, V28, BV01, BV02, BV04, BV08

I then added some finishing touches with a white gel pen and my Prisma-Colour pencils: black, kelp green, orange, cadmium orange hue, burnt ochre; before fussy cutting the images.

I then die cut a piece of the Haunted Paper Pack using the largest of the Cave Dies and added a piece of cardstock behind the centre piece before adhering it to a square card from Envelope Solutions. As the paper is 6x6 and the card is a little larger I coloured the edge with a black (100) Copic marker.

I then stamped the sentiment on to black cardstock using my MISTI and Archival Brilliance Moonlight White ink.

The two kitties and sentiment were adhered on to the card with foam tape.

Paper Strips instead of Ribbon for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #211 for the 5th of September, 2024

 

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Use a Sketch, but I along with a few of us read it as: Paper Strips instead of Ribbon

However, I am sure that there is a sketch somewhere that looks like my card!!

I again decided to do something quick and easy using La-La Land Crafts products, as I am still trying to catch up for work and organise my youngest for a week long camp!

So, here is my card:

I had some leftover strips of the Sparkle and Shine Paper Pack from a previous project, so I adhered  them to a square Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.

I then die cut the Layered Happy Birthday Die twice in black card stock, then once in gold cardstock. I adhered them all together, but inlayed the gold Happy Holidays.

I then adhered the Happy Birthday on to the card with foam tape.

(Not) Morning Cats Need Coffee for Love to Craft Challenge #82 for September/October 2024

 

It has been another packed few months - where has the year gone, I can't believe it is already September! We have Father's Day here in Australia today - So hoping all Fathers have a wonderful day!

For challenge #82 for September/October 2024 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I made a card from the June 2024 KOTM plus some other stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts. 

Here is my card for this month:

As it is the June 2024 KOTM, unless you subscribe or purchased this particular kit, the (Not) Morning Cats Clear Stamp Set is not even released yet! :) 

But, the rest of the products are:

• Java Nice Day Clear Stamp Set

The cats were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with the following Copics: 

• left cat - W0, W1, W3, W5, B01, C5, C7, C9, white gel pen
• right cat - N0, N1, N3, N5, G82, white gel pen
• cat with the mug - E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, B91, C5, C7, C9, white gel pen
• mug - B14, B16, B18

Here is a photo of the cats close up before I fussy cut them:

I stamped the latte art from Java Nice Day Clear Stamp Set on to a piece of the Going Places Paper Pack using my MISTI and Tea Dye Distress Ink. I die cut the Linked Squares Die from Kraft cardstock and I already had one of the labels from Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die die cut from white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from (Not) Morning Cats Clear Stamp Set on to the label using my MISTI and Nautical Blue Memento ink.

To make the card, I adhered the stamped piece of the Going Places Paper Pack on to a Kraft Square card from Envelope Solutions. I then adhered everything else on to the card.

Winter Penguins for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #58 for September/October 2024

 

It has been quite a hectic few months, so for challenge #58 for September/October 2024 of the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog I chose to make a card drawing inspiration from something I had seen (but I can't for the life of me remember where!!) and use my products from La-La Land Crafts and make it Christmassy!

Here is my card for this month:

This card uses the following stamps, dies and papers from La-La Land Crafts and some stamped and die cut penguins from Chill Winter Season which was a Stamptember collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and La-La Land Crafts:

• Chill Winter Season stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp Stamptember
• Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die
• Christmas Tree with Trimmings Die
• Snowbanks Die - this was originally part of the November 2020 Club La-La Land Crafts
• Fence on a Hill Die - this was also originally part of the November 2020 Club La-La Land Crafts
• Going Places Paper Pack
• Merry & Bright Paper Pack

The penguins were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with the following Copics: 

• white - C0, C1, C3
• black - C5, C7, C9
• red - R22, R24, R27, R39
• green - YG21, YG03, YG17
• beak/feet - YR12, YR14, YR18, R20
• hat pompoms - white blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops

I die cut the hills from white cardstock, the fence was already die cut from some Kraft cardstock and the Christmas Tree was already die cut from Merry & Bright Paper Pack. Also the label was already die cut from white cardstock.

To make the card, I positioned and cut a piece of the Going Places Paper Pack on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions. I then positioned and adhered the hills, fence and Christmas tree.

The sentiment was stamped with my MISTI on to one of the labels from Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die using Nautical Blue Memento ink and adhered to the card. Then the penguins were popped up using foam tape.

I totally forgot to take a photo of the penguins before they were attached to the card, but I took a photo before I adhered them to the card:

Grey with one other colour for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #210 on the 5th of August, 2024

 

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Grey with one other colour

I again decided to do something quick and easy using La-La Land Crafts products, as we were away for half of July in Japan and then I have been working quite a bit to catch up, including a trip over to Melbourne for work!

So, here is my card, well it is a banner that I think I may mass produce to make as tags!

I die cut the largest part of the Large Banner Die twice in grey cardstock, then the inside of the banner once in one of the grey plaid pieces of Christmas Cheer Paper Pack, then the top of the banner using a red piece. I adhered the two grey banners together, then the grey plaid piece, the grey chevron over it at the bottom, then the red piece on top.

I then die cut the Layered Happy Holidays Die twice in white card stock, then once in each of the red and another lighter piece of the Christmas Cheer Paper Pack. I adhered them all together, but inlayed the red Happy Holidays, with the lighter grey outline on top.

I then adhered the Happy Holidays on to the banner.

Then I hole punched the two holes at the top and thread through some Baker's twine. 

I actually attached the second grey chevron on the back, so I may add the To/From to the back.
