Hi All,

What a crazy start to the year - can you believe that we are already two months in?!

Anyway, for challenge #91 for March/April 2026 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog, I made two cards from the La-La Land Crafts Colour & Create Virtual Retreat 2026 last weekend and we used stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts. This virtual retreat is the original event for the February 2026 Release, and the theme is Enchanted Woodlands.

Here are my cards for this month:

Here is the inside of my cards:

Here are photos of the individual cards:

For these cards, everything was prepared for us and we just had to colour the images, fussy cut them and then organise the card! :) This is Irina's design and all the products used on these cards are either just released or already in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

The Wizard Bunny was already stamped and we coloured with the following Copics and Prismacolour pencils:
  • Copics - C01, C03, C05, C07, C09, YR23, YR24, R11, R20, BG72, B21, B41, B45, E71, E74, E77, E79
  • Prismacolour pencils - PC916 Canary Yellow, PC935 Black, PC936 Slate Grey, PC943 Burnt Ochre
I followed Irina's instructions for the two cards.

Pooh and Piglet Flying Away for Love to Craft Challenge #90 for the 1st of January 2026

Oh my goodness, can you believe that it is the beginning of 2026, where on earth has 2025 gone? We have had a lovely warm start to 2026 and gone for a lovely walk with some friends at Morialta Falls. Then we came home and found a koala very lost in our front yard! He climbed our big tree (I think it is nearly 70 years old) and has gone way up high! Here is a photo of him/her climbing the tree:

Anyway, for challenge #90 for January/February 2026 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog, I made a card from the La-La Land Crafts Colour & Create Virtual Retreat 2025 in early February 2025 and we used stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts. This retreat was the original event for the Winnie the Pooh Release.

Here is my card for this month:

For this card, everything was prepared for us and we just had to colour the images, fussy cut them and then organise the card! :) This is Irina's design and all the products used on this card are already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet were stamped and we coloured with the following Copics and Prismacolour pencils:
  • Copics - YR21, YR23, YR24, R20, R21, R24, R27, R59, R81, R83, R85
  • Prismacolour pencils - PC925 Crimson Lake, PC928 Blush Pink, PC931 Dark Purple, PC1033 Mineral Orange, PC1034 Goldenrod
Here is a photo showing all the images coloured:

I followed Irina's instructions for the card, except I did not pop up and use foam tape to adhere the front panel to the card - It was stinking hot here and I didn't want to go upstairs to my craft room to find some more foam tape! Anyway, here are a couple of photos from the two sides, so that you can see the dimension of the front and the inside:

Here is a photo of the inside of the card with the sentiment peeking behind the pocket:

Here is a photo of the inside of the card with it fully open so that you can see the sentiment:

Eeyore and Piglet for Love to Craft Challenge #89 on the 1st of November, 2025

For challenge #89 for November/December 2025 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I made a card from the La-La Land Crafts Winnie the Pooh Virtual Card Class in late March 2025 and we used stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts

Here is my card for this month:

This is Irina's design and all the products used on this card are already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

I followed Irina's instructions, Eeyore and Piglet were stamped on some cardstock that I have in my stash and then I used Distress Oxide ink in the following colours: fossilised amber, picked raspberry, worn lipstick, mowed lawn, pine needles, salty ocean, tumbled glass. Everything was put together following Irina's instructions.

Here are a few photos showing all the images and dies coloured:

Here is a photo of the inside of the completed card, as well as one of the front while the card is laying flat:

Sew Kind of You for Love to Craft Challenge #83 for November/December 2024

It has been another packed few months - where has the year gone, I can't believe it is nearly the end of the year. My daughter is in the midst of Year 12 exams - not sure where the time has gone, I still remember when she started school.

Anyway, for challenge #83 for November/December 2024 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I made another card using the cute hedgehogs from the May 2024 KOTM plus some other dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts

Here is my card for this month:

As it is the May 2024 KOTM, unless you subscribe or purchased this particular kit, the Sew Happy Clear Stamp Set and Thread and Needle Die are not even released yet! :)
But, the most of the products are:
I have die cut the Linked Squares Die from white cardstock and one of the papers from the Celebrate Paper Pack, but it looks like this particular paper pack is no longer available - it is one of my favourites!

The hedgehogs were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with the following Copics:
  • brownish hedgehog - E00, E01, E02, E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49, R20, 100, white gel pen
  • reddish hedgehog - E00, E01, E02, E30, E31, E33, E34, E35, E37, E39, R20, 100, white gel pen
  • scissors - C3, C5, V01, V04, V06
  • yellow thread - Y11, Y13, Y15
  • pincushion - V01, V04, V06
  • needles - C1, C3
I just realised in both of these hedgehogs, I have not coloured the arms and legs properly! Oh well, too late now! Here is a photo of them close up before I fussy cut them:

I die cut the Thread and Needle Die from Kraft cardstock three times and then coloured with the following PrismaColour pencils: night cerulean blue, pink, magenta, bronze and metallic gold. I also added clear Wink of Stella to the needles.

I adhered the two die cuts of the Linked Squares Die together and I already had one of the labels from Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die die cut from white cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Sew Happy Clear Stamp Set on to the label using my MISTI and Nautical Blue Memento ink.

To make the card, I adhered the sentiment label on to a white slimline card from Envelope Solutions. I then adhered everything else on to the card, although I used pop dots on the thread.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

Luka with Suitcase for Love to Craft Challenge #80 for May/June 2024

It has been another packed few months and I am very late posting this, but for challenge #80 for May/June 2024 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I wanted to showcase a card that I made from a workshop by La-La Land Crafts.

Here is my card for this month:

This card uses stamps, dies and papers from La-La Land Crafts and I followed Martha's video in the Cardmaking & Colouring Workshop from April 2022 to both colour Luka with suitcase and put the card together. For this particular workshop, we received everything already die cut and ready in labelled bags - it was awesome!! :)
Anyway, the products are:
Luka was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with the following Copics:
  • Skin/shoes - E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
  • Hair - E40, E41, E43, E44
  • Suitcase/Grey - N0, N2, N4, N6

  • Blue - B93, B95, B97, B99
  • Brown - E11, E13, E15, E18

I finished off the details with a white gel pen, then fussy cut him.
Here is a photo of Luka:

The notebook page has been "aged" with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink. Here are some photos of the inside of the trifold card:

I was going to try and make my own version for a Christmas card and I may still do that, but this month I ran out of time with travelling for work and going away for a week holiday camping!

Swinging Piggie for Love to Craft Challenge #78 for January/February 2024

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! Hope everyone has a good slide into 2024!

For challenge #78 for January/February 2024 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I decided to finish a card that I started a while ago from a card workshop by the wonderful Kristine - one of the DT from La-La Land Crafts.

Here is my card for this month:

I initially stamped the piggies from the March 2023 KOTM on to X-Press It Blending card and then coloured with the following Copic markers:
  • piggies - E0000, E000, R00, R20, R21, BG45, N3
I die cut the flowers from the December 2022 KOTM in white card stock and then coloured them in the following Copic markers:
  • flowers - RV02, RV06, RV10, Y13, Y19
The stems of the flowers/hills, leaves, (both from Dec 2022 KOTM), tree canopies (Mar 2023 KOTM) and grass patches were die cut from green card stock, the tree and swing (Mar 2023 KOTM) from Kraft card stock and the 'hello' (Mar 2023 KOTM) from yellow card stock.

The yellow gingham paper from Colour Me Happy Paper Pack was die cut with the Forest Die. The clouds in the background are Wild Honey Distress Oxide with the cloud stencil from Summer is Here Stencil Set.

I followed the instructions from Kristine in her video for putting the card together and for colouring the little piggies!
I added some sparkle to the tree canopy and hills/stems using Shake & Gilt. Here is a photo showing the sparkle and how the piggie on the swing moves:

Here is a close up of the colouring after fussy cutting the piggies (I took me a little while to find this photo as they were coloured way back in June!!):

Here is another photo:

I also added some stability to the back of the card with an additional piece of paper from the Colour Me Happy Paper Pack, white card stock and another grass patch from green card stock:

I then stamped the sentiment using Elderberry Memento ink and my MISTI.

As usual, I have drawn some inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes.
