Eeyore and Piglet for Love to Craft Challenge #89 on the 1st of November, 2025

 

For challenge #89 for November/December 2025 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I made a card from the La-La Land Crafts Winnie the Pooh Virtual Card Class in late March 2025 and we used stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts. 

Here is my card for this month:

This is Irina's design and all the products used on this card are already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

• That Figures Clear Stamp Set
• Follow Joy Clear Stamp Set
• At the Carnival Paper Pack
• Life Documented Paper Pack
• Tree Branches Die
• Grass Patches Die - although Irina used Rounded Grass Patches Die, which I did not have at the time of making this card!
• Double Stitched Dome Die
• Stitched Pennants Die - this was originally part of the April 2016 Kit of the Month
• Bookmark Die - this was originally part of the November 2019 Kit of the Month
• Horizontal Pocket Die -  for the sentiment
• Stitched Sun and Clouds Die - for the inside
• sequins - included in the box for the 2025 Colour & Create Virtual Retreat

I followed Irina's instructions, Eeyore and Piglet were stamped on some cardstock that I have in my stash and then I used Distress Oxide ink in the following colours: fossilised amber, picked raspberry, worn lipstick, mowed lawn, pine needles, salty ocean, tumbled glass. Everything was put together following Irina's instructions.

Use a Bow for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #213 on the 5th of November, 2024

 

Today is my Father's Birthday! So Happy Birthday Dad/Grandpa!

Anyway, for this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Use a Bow

I was trying to make one of the cards from the Birthday Card Workshop by La-La Land Crafts, but I ran out of time! However, I did manage to finish the front of the card!

So, here is my card:

I die cut the present from the Large Present with Bow Die from La-La Land Crafts from both a piece of the Celebrate Paper Pack (which is no longer available) and also from blue cardstock.

I stamped "Happy Birthday" from Happy Birthday Clear Stamp Set by La-La Land Crafts using my MISTI and Nautical Blue Memento ink. 

I die cut the bow from glittery gold cardstock.

To make the card, I adhered the blue cardstock present, including the frame and then the stamped Celebrate paper present on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions.

Then I adhered the gold bow together and then on top of the present.

Polka Dots and/or Stripes for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #204 for 5th of February 2024

 

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Polka Dots and/or Stripes

I decided to do something quick and easy using La-La Land Crafts products.

So, here is my card:

It was very simple to make - I found some polka dot paper within the Colour Me Happy Paper Pack and cut it to the size of my white square card from Envelope Solutions.

Then I die cut the background of the Layered Enjoy Die in green cardstock and the word in another of the papers from Colour Me Happy Paper Pack. I adhered the word to the background with glue, then adhered it with foam tape to make it pop.

I was going to leave it like that! It was so simple and effective!

But, then I wanted to use a new die from Irina, Martha and Tamara's latest Colour & Create Workshop - the new Pop Fold die. I originally used some green cardstock and white squares, but then realised that it wasn't going to fit in my smaller square card. So I then diec cut the second largest of the Scalloped Rectangles Dies in blue cardstock and the second or third largest of the Double Stitched Rectangles Dies (whichever one fit within the scalloped rectangle!) in white cardstock. I scored both in half and then stamped sentiments from the new Happy Birthday Clear Stamp Set in Nautical Blue, Bahama Blue and Elderberry Memento ink using my MISTI.

Add Flowers for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #197 on the 5th of July, 2023

 

For this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog we have the optional theme of

Add Flowers

I decided to use some of the awesome sunflowers from Power Poppy that I have already printed and cut out a few years ago with my Cameo Silhouette plus some of my stash from La-La Land Crafts.

So here is my card:

As I mentioned above, I have digitally printed Sunflower Power Digital Stamp from Power Poppy on to X-Press It Blending card, cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo and then coloured with Copic inks as follows:

• orange - YR12, YR14, YR16
• yellow - Y13, Y19
• green - YG11, YG23, YG25, YG67
• centre - E13, E25, E33, E08
• blue - BG0000, BG000, BG01
• outline - BG01

I have stamped on to a white card from Envelope Solutions the Hello Lovely Background Stamp from La-La Land Crafts using Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink and the top of my MISTI. Then once that had dried, I stamped two butterflies from Pure Prairie Spirit Clear Stamp Set by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy which unfortunately has been discontinued, but there is a digital stamp called Pure Prairie Bouquet. I stamped the butterflies in Bahama Blue and Elderberry Memento ink using my MISTI and then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

As I mentioned, the sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles.

I have digitally printed Jasper Kitty Balloon on to X-Press It Blending card and then cut using my paper cutter.
I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:

• kitty fur - YR12, YR14, E41, E43, E44, E47, E49, R30, R83
• balloon - 0, B12, B14, B16, B18
• flower/bow - RV63, RV55
• blue presents - B12, B14, B16, B18
• white/grey presents - C00, C0, C1, C2
• background - B0000, B000, B00, B12, B14 (should have done it a different colour!)
• outline - RV55

I have adhered the coloured image on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
I have then stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment from Dynamic Duos: Peonies & Tulips from the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy in nautical blue Memento ink.
I have drawn some inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesome Monthly Classes.

Not Just Cards - September 2019 Challenge

Here is my colouring for this month: 

This card is the one that I gave my sister for her birthday in July.
Here is an image of the inside of the card - pretty much the first time I have done something inside a card! I need to do it more.

I have stamped using my MISTI and Bamboo Leaves Memento ink, the big image from O Hoppy Day by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy on to X-Press It Blending card. I used Bamboo Leaves and Pear Tart Memento ink inside, as well Nautical Blue Memento ink for the sentiment on the outside and inside of the card, which is a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
I have coloured the main images with the following Copics markers:

• hops and leaves - YG00, YG13, YG23, YG25, YG67, E13 (hops)
• barley - E41, E43, E44
• background - BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV01 (outline)

I had to play around a bit with colouring of the various plants, so here are a few other images:

In this one I tried BG90, BG93, BG96 and BG99 for the leaf....
