Happy New Year!! I can not believe that it is 2025 already!

Anyway, for challenge #84 for January/February 2025 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog I made a card using Instant Camera Marci and one of the cute critters from the August 2024 KOTM plus some other dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts

Here is my card for this month:

and here is a photo of the inside:

As it is the August 2024 KOTM, unless you subscribe or purchased this particular kit, Instant Camera Marci and Oh Snap Clear Stamp Set are not even released yet! :)
But, these products are:
Marci and the peacock were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with the following Copics:
  • skin - E000, E00, E21, E13, R20
  • eyes - BG72, BG75, white gel pen
  • lips - R46, white gel pen
  • hair - YR21, YR23, YR24
  • jeans - B93, B95, B97, B99
  • top/shoes - G06, G07
  • camera - BG72, BG75, white gel pen
  • peacock body - B00, B01, B02, B05, B97, white gel pen
  • peacock eye - T1, white gel pen
  • peacock wings - BG11, BG23, BG15, BG49, YG01, YG03, white gel pen
  • peacock beak/legs - Y13, Y15, Y17
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a photo of the two images before I fussy cut them:

For the front of the card, I adhered a piece of the Summer Vacation Paper Pack to the front of a white square card from Envelope Solutions and then attached Marci with foam tape.
Here is a photo before I completed the inside:

Then for the inside, I followed most of the directions from Irina for a variety of cards that she has made, but I had to adjust the measurements to fit my card. I die cut the Horizontal Pocket Die from white cardstock and another piece of white cardstock to attach to the pocket to make the base of the card along with strips of one of the papers from the Life Documented Paper Pack. Then for the slider mechanism, I cut blue cardstock for the base part of the mechanism, then matted it with a piece of the Life Documented Paper Pack and then added a smaller white cardstock for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment from Oh Snap Clear Stamp Set using my MISTI and Nautical Blue Memento ink ensuring that the two words were stamped separately so that they could be on two lines. Then I adhered the peacock so that he covered any of the words peaking out!

Here are some photos of the inside:

and of the card lying flat:

To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment from Oh Snap Clear Stamp Set on the front using my MISTI and Nautical Blue Memento ink.

Challenge #60 of Merry Little Christmas Challenge for the 1st of January, 2025

Happy New Year!! I can not believe that it is 2025 already!

Anyway, it has been quite a hectic few months, but for challenge #60 for January/February 2025 of the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog I used some of my products from La-La Land Crafts!

Here is my card for this month:

and here is a photo of the inside:

I have used the following products:
Marci and the snowmen were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with the following Copics:

  • lips - R46, white gel pen

  • white - N0, N2, N4
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up photo of the images before I adhered them to the card:

For the front of the card, I adhered a piece of the Winter Time Paper Pack to the front of a white square card from Envelope Solutions and then attached Marci and the Snowman with foam tape.

Then for the inside, I followed the directions from Irina for a variety of cards that she has made using the Pop Fold Die. I die cut the Pop Fold Die from blue cardstock and cut another piece of lighter blue cardstock (3 1/2" x 7" and scored at 3 1/2" on the 7" side) to make the base. Then I cut two white layers (3 ¼" x 3 ¼") and adhered them on to the lighter blue piece. I stamped the sentiment from Let it Snow Clear Stamp Set on the left in Nautical Blue Memento ink and adhered the snowman to the right, before assembling the pop fold to the inside of the card.

Here are some photos of the inside:

Here is another photo of the finished card:
