Waiting by SheepSki Designs for Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #285 on the 6th of September, 2026


Hi All!
I'm in the middle of travelling to Perth for work, I had a conference on Friday and some training Thursday/Friday next week, so I stayed over the weekend in Perth.
Anyway, welcome to my post about my card for challenge #285 on the 6th of September 2026 for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

I chose Waiting #156, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics markers:
  • sky - Y000, YG00, B000, V000, V01, V04, V06, V09, BV00, BV13, colourless blender
  • skin - E000, E00, E11
  • hair - E23, E25, E27, E97
  • dress - BG10, BG11, BG53, BG15
  • wings - RV000, RV02, RV04
  • trees - E40, E41, E43, E44, E47
  • grass - E40, G21, G94, G99
  • mushrooms - E40, E41, E43, E44, R14, R17, white gel pen
  • squirrel - E11, E15, E18, E97
  • stones - BV20, BV23
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at The Colouring Channel (formerly Kit and Clowder) and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes, including her new Technique Library Class - Sunset Sky.

Here is a close up of the colouring before I adhered it to the card:

I  cut the image with my paper cutter and adhered it to a square card from Envelope Solutions.
