Elephant Christmas Tree by Bugaboo Stamps for Winter Wonderland Challenge for the 5th of March, 2021

At Winter Wonderland this month, we are hosted by Christine.
Welcome to our third challenge for 2021.

Our theme is:

Trees

So here is my card:

I took this photo outside in some sunshine, but you can't see the sparkle very well - however the close up image below shows a heap of sparkle from the glitter pens!

Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme.
"Theme"

Our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps:

Everything that you ever wanted to know about Bugaboo Stamps - a short essay!
As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of paper crafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was seven years ago.

Today Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images and we're still growing! From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.

Jodie works hard to provide new releases and freebies every week!

And the prize on offer for our lucky winner is:
$12 gift code to spend in the Bugaboo Stamps store.

I chose Elephant Christmas Tree for my image, which I digitally printed on to X-Press It blending card and then cut out using my paper cutter.
I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • elephant - C00, C0, C1, C3, C5, R20, G07, clear Wink of Stella
  • hat green - G02, G05, G07
  • hat red - R22, R24, R27, clear Wink of Stella
  • tree - YG03, G14, G17, G29
  • stocking green - G12, G14, G17
  • stocking blue - B12, B14, B16
  • stocking purple - V20, V22, V25
  • ornaments - glitter pens
  • tag - E30, E34
  • ribbon - R22, R24
  • brown - E13, E15, E17
  • background - BG0000, BG000
  • outline - BG01
I then adhered the coloured image on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions, which I stamped on all four edges with one of the border stamps from Snuggle Down by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy using Elderberry Memento ink and my MISTI. Unfortunately Snuggle Down seems to have been retired.

The sentiment is from Deck the Halls Clear Stamp Set by the wonderful Irina at La-La Land Crafts, but it also seems to have been retired. I have stamped the sentiment in Nautical Blue Memento ink using my MISTI.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Monthly Classes and Bonus Classes from the awesome Alyce at Kit and Clowder.

Here are some close-ups of the sentiment and colouring:

Just looking at the part of the image between the elephant and the tree - I didn't realise that it was a present! I thought it was a balustrade or something wooden with a tag and a ribbon!

Anyway, I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
2 Crafty Critter Crazies March Challenge - Anything Goes as long as there is a critter or two!
ABC Christmas Challenges E, F and G - G is for Garland on the tree
Christmas with the Cuties Challenge #46 - Anything Christmas Goes as long as it is cute and optional theme of Elves/Gnomes and Fairies
Christmas Crafts All Year 'Round March Challenge - Something that starts with E and/or F - I have an elephant!

There is inspiration from the rest of the Winter Wonderland DT over on the Winter Wonderland blog, so please pop over to everyone's blog by clicking on their name. We always appreciate a comment or two! :) You can also find out what other challenges are out there, which could give you some ideas for your card stash.
We all hope that you are able to join us for this challenge. Please remember that it is Christmas Projects only! We look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your gorgeous Christmas creations. Please be sure to post a link back to the Winter Wonderland blog in your blog post in order to be eligible for a prize!

Hi All!
Welcome to my post about my card for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.
Here is my card:

The sponsor for this challenge is:

and the prize is 4 images from their shop.

I picked Make it Snappy - JJ Coffee which apparently I am like this in the morning according to my beautiful daughter Abigayle, although I generally don't drink any caffeine until she is at school and I have done some exercise! So not sure exactly where she gets that from!! :)
Anyway, I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card and then cut out using my paper cutter. Then I have coloured with the following Copics:
  • skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04
  • eye - G21, G07, G28

Friendship - Colour Crazy Challenge for the 23rd of November, 2018

Well I was invited to stay on at Colour Crazy Challenge and I decided to do just that as I was having so much fun! So I have found some time to colour two of the images that we had available from Bugaboo Stamps and made a card following a sketch.
So here is my card:

I have used Bobblehead Reindeer and Polar Bear and digitally printed them on to X-Press It Blending Card. I tried to use my Silhouette Cameo to cut them out, but something happened and the polar bear's hand was slightly cut off! So I aborted that cutting and had to fussy cut - so totally not a fan of fussy cutting! I think my Silhouette may need a software upgrade, but I have no time to work it out, so I will keep trying! SO hopefully I have covered up the fact that the polar bear is missing part of his hand by the reindeer!! :)

Anyway, I have used the following Copics markers to colour the bobblehead reindeer and the polar bear:
  • reindeer - E40, E43 (chest), E21, E23, E25, E27, E29
  • hooves - E40, E43, E44, E47
