At Colour Crazy Challenge for the 20th of November, 2020, we are sponsored by Knitty Kitty Digis and I chose three of the flamingoes from Build a Snow Scene Quintuple (Florentina, Felicia, Fifi, Flavia and Francine)- Knitty Kitty Digis No.57 ABCD&E.

Here is my card:

As I mentioned, the sponsor for this challenge iKnitty Kitty Digis.

I have digitally printed my chosen Flamingoes from Build a Snow Scene Quintuple (Florentina, Felicia, Fifi, Flavia and Francine)- Knitty Kitty Digis No.57 ABCD&E on to X-Press It Blending card.

I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • flamingoes pink - RV42, RV34, R35
  • flamingoes black - W5, 100, white gel pen
  • flamingoes skates - C00, C0, C1, silver Wink of Stella
  • flamingoes hats - R24, R27, R29, clear Wink of Stella
  • ice - C00, B0000, B000, B00, B02

  • sky - V01, V05, B12, B14, B16, B29, B99, white gel pen

I have cut the image using my paper cutter and adhered it on to a white slimline card from Envelope Solutions.

As I mentioned, the sponsor for this challenge is Knitty Kitty Digis.

I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • cup - B12, B14, B16, B18
  • saucer - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
  • biscuit wrapper - C00, C0, C1, RV11, RV14, RV17, RV19

I am pretty sure I have drawn some inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder, but for the life of me - I can't remember what I have used! If I remember at a later date, I'll update this post!

I have adhered the coloured image to a white square card from Envelope Solutions and stamped one of the sentiments from Through the Woods from the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy in Nautical Blue Memento ink.

Here is a close-up of the colouring:

Knitty Kitty Digis for Colour Crazy Challenge for the 19th of July, 2019

At Colour Crazy Challenge we are being sponsored by Knitty Kitty Digis and the image I chose was Did someone say cream cake? A very cute image of three kitties lined up, peaking around a corner. It made me think of "Welcome Home", as that is what our two kitties do when we come home - they appear from around the corner, or they are already waiting at the door!

So I have made a Welcome Home card!

I have digitally printed the three cute kitties on to X-Press It Blending card and then because my Silhouette Cameo is not hooked up to my computer at the moment, I have just cut out the image with my paper cutter. Although I had to trim it with my fussy cutting scissors.
I have used the following Copics markers to colour the image:
  • tabby kitty at the top - E41, E43, E44, E47, R11, R20, colourless blender for texture
  • tortoiseshell kitty in the middle - E31, E35, E37, W1, W3, W5, W7, R11, R20
  • lilac/grey kitty at the bottom with the fish - BV000, BV20, BV00, W3, W5
  • fish - Y21, YR04, YR09
  • door on right - B12, B14, B16
  • wall on left - BG000, BG01, BG02, colourless blender for texture
  • outline - B16
The colours and techniques for colouring the kitties came from the All About Animals Class by the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder. For the tabby kitty, I used some colourless blender with a piece of terry cloth to have a different texture, then finished with some more strokes of colour.
I also added a blue sequin with Cosmic Stickles to act as a door knob to the image.

I have gone pretty simple with the design of the card. I used two sentiments, one from Vibrant Thanks by Power Poppy, which I stamped with Nautical Blue Memento ink using my MISTI on to the Kraft card from Envelope Solutions. Then a second sentiment - Welcome from the April 2015 Club La-La Land Crafts kit, which I also stamped in Nautical Blue Memento ink, but on to some water colour paper that I brushed with tumbled glass Distress Ink and then cut with some fancy scalloped scissors to fit a kraft banner that I die cut from a new banner die cut from Close to My Heart which is included in the new Share the Joy Stamps + Thin Cuts. I outlined the kraft banner with Nautical Blue Memento ink.

Here is a close-up of the colouring:
