Nom Nom - Bee Buzzy Gnome by Polkadoodles for Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #277 on the 3rd of May 2026

Hi All!

We have had a very strange April weather-wise - it started with some rain and then we have had some quite warm weather, but now I think that the cooler weather is coming.....

Anyway, welcome to my post about my card for challenge #277, the 3rd of May 2026 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Here is my card:

I chose Nom Nom - Bee Buzzy Gnome, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics markers:

• nose - E000, E00, E21
• beard - C0, C1
• turquoise - BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18
• yellow - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
• flowers - RV10, RV63, RV66, RV69, E97, Y15, Y17, YR24, YG63, YG67
• mug - B14, B16, B18
• bee - C7, C9, Y15, Y17, B00
• mushrooms - E71, E74, R27
• logs - E31, E33, E35, E37
• basket - E11, E13, E15
• bottle - B000, B00, B01
• apple/tomatoes - R35, R37, R39
• lettuce - YG03
• bread - E33, E35, E57
• grass - YG63, YG67 

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up of the colouring part way through (I forgot to take one before I adhered it to the card):

I die cut the image with the largest of the Scalloped Frames Die from La-La Land Crafts. I finger painted the scalloped frame with gold paint and then popped it up using foam tape on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions. I then adhered the coloured image on to the card with glue.
