Hi All!
The start of May is a busy time for us here in Adelaide - we have the Adelaide Marathon on Sunday the 3rd and my son's 17th Birthday is on the 7th! Can't believe he is 17 years old already - where has my little boy gone?
Anyway, for challenge #68 for May/June 2026 of the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, I made a card that is a combination of a couple of cards from workshops by La-La Land Crafts and also an image that I had already coloured from La-La Land Crafts!
So, here is my card for this month:
I based my design on a card from the Winnie the Pooh Holiday Cards Workshop (I can't see that on the website anymore), as well as a card from the Winnie the Pooh Virtual Card Class (on the website). All of the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
Pooh and Piglet were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the Copics (I have forgotten which!) The image was fussy cut.
Here is a photo of the image in the midst of fussy cutting:
I have die cut a piece of the Christmas Eve Paper Pack using the largest of the Postage Rectangles Die, then I have die cut it with the third largest Stitched Tags Die.
I die cut the third largest Scalloped Tags Die in gold cardstock and adhered that to the Stitched Tag piece.
I die cut the moon from Crescent Moon Die and stars from North Star Die in gold cardstock, then the cloud from Crescent Moon Die and trees from Winter Circle Die in white cardstock. The sentiment label was already die cut from Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die using white cardstock. The sentiment was stamped using Elderberry Memento ink.
Here is a photo of everything laid out before it was adhered to the card:
To make the card, I adhered the outside piece of the Postage Rectangles on to a white card from Envelope Solutions. I popped up the tag with foam tape and adhered it to the centre, then adhered the trees, moon, cloud and stars to the tag. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are popped up with foam tape, as is the sentiment label. I finished the card using sequins from the La-La Land Crafts Winnie the Pooh workshop.
Here is another photo of the finished card:
