Pilot Luka - Enjoy Your Flight

Here is my latest creation:

I have sort of used the last sketch from Card Patterns - #172:

I am very sorry to see Card Patterns stop producing sketches.....they were always great! Thank you!

Also, the colouring and theme are based on Cupcake Inspirations - #167:

I have used a digitally stamped Pilot Luka from La-La Land Crafts which I have hand coloured with Copics pens. Luka is attached to a paper from a freebie from Australian Simply Cards - Travellight by We R Memory Keepers. The card base is Kraft from Envelope Solutions. A kraft envelope is also included.
For the colouring with the Copics pens, I used:

• E00, E02 - skin
• R20 - mouths, tongue, nose and cheeks
• R22, R27 - red
• B93, B95, B97 - blue
• B00 - background blue sky
• E31, E35, E37 - brown
• Y28 - gold stars and tag
• C1, C3, C5 - grey box

Sugar and Spice Marci Happy Day Card

Here is my card for the latest sketch from Card Patterns: Sketch 169:

Unfortunately I missed the cut off for posting my card by about 6 mins!!! Oh well, at least I have a new card!! :)

Anyway, I have used the following:

• a kraft card and envelope from Envelope Solutions
• some blue textured card stock from DCWV, cut into a banner and then used on the envelope
• a piece of floral paper (I have no idea where it came from!), inked on the edge with Aquamarine Vivid! ink
• a glittered die cut by from Making Memories
• Sugar and Spice Marci (La-La Land Crafts) digitally stamped on to X-Press It paper and then hand coloured with Copics pens (hair: E35; skin: E00; lips: lipstick Spica pen; headband, dress and shoes: B02, B05, RV13; spoon: E31; cupcake: E31, RV10, R35)
• 'happy day' stamp from inkadinkado stamped in Aquamarine Vivid! ink.

Happy Birthday Dinosaur Card

Here is my latest creation using the latest sketch on Card Patterns.

I have used:

• a square white card and envelope from Envelope Solutions

• a square of double-sided paper from NitWit Collections (free gift from Simply Cards), cut in half, then "sewed" on to a square piece of card stock (DCWV) 

• dinosaur, palm tree and Happy Birthday stamp all from NitWit Collections (free gift from Simply Cards). The dinosaur was stamped with Memento Black ink on to xPress It paper and hand coloured with water colour pencils. Both the palm tree and Happy Birthday circle were stamped with coloured ink from PSX on to some white card stock. The palm tree was coloured with water colour pencils.

The card is blank inside and comes with a white square envelope.

Luka with Flowers Thank You Card

Here is my latest creation for the Card Patterns challenge. Here is the sketch from Card Patterns:

Here is my card, featuring Luka with Flowers from LaLaLand Crafts. He is printed on X-Press It paper and hand coloured with water colour pencils.

I have used:

• a kraft card and envelope from Envelope Solutions (need to get some more!!)

• A piece of paper from Webster's pages (free gift from Simply Cards Magazine) cut in a banner shape and inked on the edges with aquamarine Vivid! ink

• a piece of textured card stock from DCWV, with rounded corners and inked on the edges with aquamarine Vivid! ink

• a smaller piece of card stock stamped with thank you in aquamarine Vivid! ink

• some flowers stamped in Violet Vivid! ink and glitter glue

The inside of the card is blank.

The envelope has a small piece of the paper attached to the bottom left corner of the front of the envelope.

Here is my latest creation, using a sketch from Card Patterns.

Here is my card using Marci with Bunny from LaLaLand Crafts. She is printed on X-Press It paper and hand coloured with water colour pencils.

I used

• a kraft card and envelope from Envelope Solutions

• a piece of paper from Webster's pages (free gift from Simply Cards Magazine)

• green spotted ribbon from Anita's Everyday Ribbons

The card is blank inside and there is no sentiment on the front of the card, but there is definitely room for a sentiment!
The envelope has a small piece of the paper attached to the bottom left corner of the front of the envelope.

Happy Easter Card

Here is my latest card based on this sketch from Card Patterns:

Here is the card, featuring Easter Marci (LaLaLand Crafts) hand-coloured with watercolour pencils and Spica pens:

The card is made with:

• a kraft card (Envelope Solutions)

• a piece of blue textured card stock (DCWV) with rounded corners and inked with Raspberry Vivid! ink

• a piece of yellow textured card stock (DCWV), inked with Raspberry Vivid! ink and stamped with "Happy Easter" also in Raspberry Vivid! ink

• a glittered die cut flower (Making Memories)  

The card is blank inside and a kraft envelope is included.

New Creations make a Splash!

Here are my latest creations, based on this sketch from CardPatterns:

For both cards, I used three shades of blue card stock (DCWV), cut into 1 inch by 1 inch squares, inked on the edge with Aquamarine ink (Vivid!) and adhered to the card. Then I added some dark hydrangea waves with Papier dimensional paint. To the right of the card, I have adhered with pop dots a hand-coloured Mermaid Marci (LaLa Land Crafts), which is digitally stamped/printed on white card stock and coloured with water colour pencils and Spica pens.

Two jewels are added to the top right corner of the card.

The card on the left is a Kraft card and the card on the right is a square white card, both from Envelope Solutions.

Here is a close up of the mermaids:

I have not added a sentiment to the cards and the inside is blank....I have left it up to the giver of the card! 

"Splash!" would be a great sentiment, or "Happy Birthday" or perhaps "Thinking of You!"

More Valentine Cards

Here are some more Valentine Cards:

They both include Sugar N' Spice Marci (LaLaLand Crafts) that I have printed on to card stock and hand coloured with my water colour pencils.

• jewels from my stash
• the card stock (also from Envelope Solutions) has been inked on the edge with aquamarine Vivid! ink
• the same ink is used for Be Mine, stamped with an Antique Alphabet Set by PSX

Happy Birthday to You - Card Patterns

I have used:

• a white A5 card and envelope
• two papers from a Spring Stack from a few years ago
• a piece of blue card stock, stamped with "Happy Birthday to you" in aquamarine ink
• three buttons, tied with embroidery floss and attached to the card with pop dots

The card and envelope are from House of Paper, the papers and card stock from DCWV, alphabet stamps from PSX, buttons from Jo-Ann Craft Essentials and the ink from Vivid!

This card is actually for my Dad for his birthday coming up, but I will most likely make another one for sale in my Etsy shop: JemLou Productions, although the buttons will be different!

I have used:

• a white square card
• two papers, one striped and one with "X"s and "O"s, both from a Spring Stack from a few years ago
• stitching with my sewing machine!
• red ribbon with silver hearts
• red flower and silver brad

A white square envelope will be included, lined with one of the papers.

The card and envelope are from Envelope Solutions, the card stock and papers from Die Cuts with a View, the ribbon and flower from imaginisce and the silver brad from my stash.

Here is my card for this week's Card Patterns challenge - Sketch 137:

I have used:

• a Kraft Card
• two papers from A Spring Stack from a few years ago
• a piece of dusty pink ric-a-rac
• a glittered die-cut attached to the card with pop dots
• a butterfly stamp and trail stamped with purple ink

An envelope will be included stamped on the back with a butterfly.

The card and envelope are from Envelope Solutions, the paper from die cuts with a view, the glittered die-cut from making memories, the butterfly stamp and trail from KaiserCraft and the purple ink from Vivid!

Peace on Earth Card

Here is my latest card, using this week's sketch from Card Patterns:

I have used:

• a Christmas green card and white envelope
• three papers from a "Christmas Paper Stack" from a few years ago
• the papers were adhered to a piece of white card stock
• a "Peace on Earth" sticker from a Christmas Sticker Value Pack from a few years ago
• I zigzagged stitched the papers using white thread and my sewing machine!

The envelope has been lined with the Christmas tree paper.

The card, envelope, papers and white card stock are all from die cuts with a view. The sticker is from making memories.

Another Merry Christmas Card

Here is another Merry Christmas Card, this time the sketch is from CardPatterns.

Here is the sketch:

I have used:

• a kraft card
• a piece of green white spotted paper from a Christmas stack from a few years ago, which I have scalloped the edges
• three white card stock circles edged with green ink and stamped with a Christmas tree in green ink
• merry christmas stamped three times in green ink

The included kraft envelope has been stamped twice with the Christmas tree stamp in green ink and has a white card stock circle, edged in green ink and stamped with a Christmas tree in green ink, all on the back flap.

The kraft card and envelope are from fundamentals, the paper and card stock from die cuts with a view, the Christmas tree stamp from Jo-Ann Craft Essentials, the merry christmas stamp from Hero Art and the green ink is from PSX.
