Giraffe & Bird by Rachelle Anne Miller (RAM) Stamps for Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #273 on the 1st of March 2026

 

Hi All!

Wow, what crazy weather we have been having! It has been quite hot, then it is rainy and thunderstorms, but still hot. So it is yucky and muggy! With the thunderstorms it is a little hard to be on my computer, so I'll be quick!

Anyway, welcome to my post about my card for challenge #273, the 1st of March 2026 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

I chose Giraffe & Bird, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics markers:

• giraffe - E70, E71, E74, E77, E79, 0, R20, C3, C5, C7, C9
• bird - BG11, BG13, BG18, Y15, YR23
• grass and squiggles - YG03, YG17, YG23, YG25, YG61, YG63, YG67
• flowers & heart - R81, R83, R85, YR23
• sky - B0000, B000, B00, B01

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up of the colouring:

I die cut the image with the largest of the Scalloped Frames Die from La-La Land Crafts and then popped the coloured image on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.

I finger-painted the frame with gold acrylic paint and then adhered it on to the card.

Welcome to my post about my card for challenge #249, the 2nd of March 2025 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

I chose Birthday Mouse which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and die cut with Scalloped Rectangles Die from La-La Land Crafts, before colouring with the following Copics markers:

• mouse - E000, E30, E31, E33, E35, R20
• cake - V01, V12, V15
• icing - E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, V12, V15
• plate - B14, B16, B18
• balloons purple - V0000, V000, V01, V12, V15 or BV000, BV00, BV01
• balloons blue - B14, B16, B18
• balloons yellow - Y11, Y13, Y15
• outline on scallops - BV01

I finished the balloon strings and lettering with my Denim Blue Prismacolour pencil. As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

I then adhered the coloured image on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.

I was given Forest Sounds, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and then coloured with the following Copics markers:

• skin - E000, E00, E02, E21, E11, R20, 100
• hair - E31, E33, E35, E37, E39
• blue (dress/tights) - B12, B14, B16, B18
• purple - (dress/tights/flowers) - V01, V04, V06

I was so busy trying to finish the card, I forgot to take a close up photo, so here is another photo of the card:

I cut the coloured image with my scissors and then die cut the largest of the Forest Dies from La-La Land Crafts in green card stock and the second largest in blue card stock. I adhered the blue part on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions. I adhered the coloured image and then the green card on top.

 I stamped the sentiment from A Good Day Clear Stamp Set also from La-La Land Crafts in Nautical Blue Memento ink with my MISTI. Then I thought it was missing something on the side, so I stamped the bee from A Good Day Clear Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured with my Copics, before adhering it to the side.
