Three Last Tree Card using Red and Green - Winter Wonderland Challenge for the 7th of June, 2019

I have been missing in action these past months as there have been some big changes in our lives! We bought a house...in Adelaide! So late last year and most of the first few months of this year, we have been busy moving 800 km to our new home. Abigayle and Christofer have settled in well to a new school and love their new house. I am busy looking for a new job, as is Jeremy, although he has been busy renovating the new house. In the next few weeks I'll be updating our family website - zieseniss.ws, so you can all see our wonderful home and the wonderful view and birdlife that we have in our backyard!
Anyway, I have finally managed to organise my craft stuff enough to get back into colouring and start making some new cards!
The first one of the year is for Winter Wonderland June Challenge which is use Red and Green.

So here is my card:

I was writing this after busily colouring the images all afternoon and totally forgot that it was Red and Green - luckily I have used a little red and green on the pots and the background is blue-green! So I have added a bit more red and green on the actual card with the Washi tape and sentiment.

Helen is hosting us this month at Winter Wonderland and as I mentioned, the theme is Use RED and GREEN.
Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme.

We are sponsored this month by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps

Prize for the winner is 2 digis of the winner's choice

So back to my card:
I digitally printed The Last Tree in the Shop on to X-Press It blending card, which I then had my Silhouette Cameo cut out. I have coloured the images with the following Copics markers:
  • tree - E71, E74, E77
  • star - Y32, YR15, clear Wink of Stella
  • baubles - Y28, BV000, BV01, BV04, V12, V15, V17, clear Wink of Stella
  • "soil" - E99
  • base - R22, R24, R27, G02, G05, G07
  • background - BG000, BG10, BG13

I have attached my coloured image on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
Then I stamped the sentiment Warmest Holiday Wishes from Let Your Heart Be Light at Power Poppy using Love Letter Memento Ink and my MISTI.
Then I added a strip of Washi tape from my stash with some green trees.

Here is a close-up of the colouring:

So I will add this card to the following challenges:
Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge #441 - Anything Christmas Goes
Sweet Stampin' Christmas May Challenge - Anything Christmas Goes

Traditional Christmas Colours - Red and Green - Winter Wonderland Challenge for the 24th of November, 2017

I'm late again, as I was travelling for work and then we have had thunder and lightning storms which has meant that I can't use my computer. :(

However, this fortnight we are hosted by Helen, who has decided that the theme will be......

Traditional Christmas Colours - Red and Green

Please remember that it is Christmas Projects only.
So here is my card:

Here is a close up of the colouring:

I have used the Snowman and Bird digital stamp from our wonderful sponsor Sasayaki Glitter.

They are offering the winner one digi image of their choice.
and their challenge blog is here - http://sasayakiglitter.blogspot.co.uk/
They also have a Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1725571720999725

I digitally printed this beautiful snowman image using my Silhouette Cameo on to X-Press It paper and then had my Silhouette cut out the image (so much easier than fussy cutting!)

I have then coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • snowman - 0, C1, C3, YR09, 100 (button)
  • snowman's arms - E74, E77, E79
  • snowman's scarf - YG03, G05, G07, R27
  • snowman's heart - R24, R27, R29, Wink of Stella
  • snowman's hat - R24, R27, R29
  • bird - Y11, Y15, YR09, RV19 (heart), Wink of Stella
  • flower - V25, Y15, Wink of Stella
  • snow - 0, B00, Wink of Stella, white gel pen
  • background - 0, B00, B000
I have then used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink with one of those sponges to add some colour to the front of the card with some more white gel pen snowflakes.

I have then made a shaker card with a piece of transparency that I found on my shelves! Along with two layers of some thick double sided foam tape and a piece of green card stock that I have used a square die from KaiserCraft to cut my window for the shaker. Added some glitter, silver stars, pale blue and white seed beads and some die cut scraps to complete the shaker.

As you can see the foam tape (well I can anyway!) I have coloured it with YG97 Copic pen and then as I made a bit of an oopps on the green cardstock, I ran a line of it around the edge.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Colour Crazy Challenge Wk47 - Anything Goes Craft Challenge
Crafty Sentiments Design - Baby - it's cold outside....
Christmas Card Challenges #26 - Anything Christmas Goes
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' November - Anything Christmas Goes

Love to Craft Challenge Blog LTCCB #16 - November Anything Goes

New Red and Green Christmas Tags

Here are some photos of my latest project:

I stamped in silver ink "a very merry christmas to you" in the shape of a Christmas Tree and then "to:" and "from:" on the other side, also in silver ink.
I have been working on these over a few weeks, as I was trying to decide on the fibre for the string part. Eventually I decided on baker's twine, red and white, or green and white, which I purchased from one of my favourite Etsy shops based here in Melbourne: koko vanilla designs.
They look great with the baker's twine!
The actual tags are from Creative Dreams - Aby and I bought them when we were at a Scrapbooking Fair.
Five of the green tags and five of the red tags are for sale in my etsy shop: JemLou Productions. Link to listing to come.
Thanks for looking! :)
