Something New for Let's Craft and Create Challenge #179 on the 5th of January, 2026

Hi All!

I have had quite a relaxed end of the year and start of the new year as I have been so busy with work, I totally needed a break! Although I have gone back to work today...
Anyway, for this month's challenge at Let's Craft and Create Challenge Blog, we have the optional theme of

Something New (for example: new year, new home, new baby etc.)

I straight away thought of making a card with a house and thought of some penguins and an igloo! 

So, here is my card:

I stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and die cut the penguins from Chill Winter Season, which was a Stamptember Exclusive from Simon Says Stamp and La-La Land Crafts. The penguins were then coloured with the following Copics pens:

• black - C5, C7, C9
• white - C00, C0, C1, 0
• cheeks - R20
• turquoise - BG11, BG13, BG18
• blue - B93, B95, B97, B99
• orange - YR12, YR15, YR18, E13

I also added white gel pen and Wink of Stella, although it is hard to see the glittery effect!

All of the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

• Winter Forest Paper Pack
• No Place Like Home Set - sentiment from February 2017 KOTM
• Scalloped Rectangles Die
• Igloo Die - from October 2015 KOTM

I adhered the paper on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions. I die cut the igloo from matte silver card stock and ensured that all the bricks stayed with in the igloo by using double sided tape on the back!

The sentiment is stamped in Nautical Blue Memento ink on to cream card stock and then die cut from the smallest rectangle. I have adhered the penguins and sentiment using foam tape.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Penny and Pete the Pelicans from Pattie's Creations for the Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #269 on the 4th of January, 2026

Hi All!

It has been a busy start to the year, although I have had time to go for a facial with my sister at Endota Spa - awesome to relax and we did parkrun at Belair National Park Saturday morning.

Anyway, welcome to my post about my card for challenge #269, the 4th of January 2026 challenge for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.

Here is my card:

I chose Penny and Pete the Pelicans, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics markers:

• pelicans - N0, N2, N4, Y15, Y35, Y38, YR16
• pilings - E21, E23, E25, E27, E29
• grass - YG17, YG63, YG67
• sky - B000, B00, B32, B34, BG32, BV000, BV02, BV13, V000, V01, V04, RV000, RV00, RV02, RV63, G000, G00, E50 Y23, C0, colourless blender, white Prismacolour pencil, white gel pen
• frame - G000, G00, BG32

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up of the colouring before I adhered it to the card:

I die cut the image with the largest of the Scalloped Rectangles Die from La-La Land Crafts and then adhered the coloured image to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.

Pooh and Piglet Decorate a Christmas Tree for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #66 for the 1st of January 2026

I still can't believe that it is the beginning of 2026, 2025 went by so quickly! The koala is very camouflaged in the tree, if it is still there! To see a photo, please look at my previous post!
Anyway, for challenge #66 for January/February 2026 of the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, I made a card based on the La-La Land Virtual Christmas Colour & Create Workshop using some of my products from La-La Land Crafts!

Here is my card for this month:

This is based on Irina's design and all the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

• Christmas Magic Clear Stamp Set
• Winter Forest Paper Pack
• Tall Christmas Trees Die
• Double Stitched Ovals Die
• Enamel Dots

Winnie the Pooh and Piglet were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card, die cut and coloured with the following Copics and Prismacolour pencils: 

• Copics - Y11, Y13, Y15, YR21, YR23, YR24, B41, B34, C1, C3, C5, C7, R20, R21, R24, R27, R59, R81, R83, R85
• Prismacolour pencils - PC924 Crimson Red, PC925 Crimson Lake, PC935 Black, PC936 Slate Grey, PC939 Peach, PC941 Light Umber, PC945 Sienna Brown, PC1054 50% Warm Grey

I also used white gel pen on the images.

The enamel dots are coloured with BG78.

I totally forgot to take a photo of the images after colouring them.

The sentiment from Christmas Magic Clear Stamp Set was stamped using Elderberry Memento ink, then die cut using the smallest oval die from the set. The paper from Winter Forest Paper Pack was adhered to a silver cardstock and then adhered to a white square card from Envelope Solutions.
 The piece of paper that I cut off for the front, I have adhered to the inside with Art Glitter glue. The front is Art Glitter glue and foam tape.

Pooh and Piglet Flying Away for Love to Craft Challenge #90 for the 1st of January 2026

Oh my goodness, can you believe that it is the beginning of 2026, where on earth has 2025 gone? We have had a lovely warm start to 2026 and gone for a lovely walk with some friends at Morialta Falls. Then we came home and found a koala very lost in our front yard! He climbed our big tree (I think it is nearly 70 years old) and has gone way up high! Here is a photo of him/her climbing the tree:

Anyway, for challenge #90 for January/February 2026 of the Love to Craft Challenge Blog, I made a card from the La-La Land Crafts Colour & Create Virtual Retreat 2025 in early February 2025 and we used stamps, dies and paper from La-La Land Crafts. This retreat was the original event for the Winnie the Pooh Release.

Here is my card for this month:

For this card, everything was prepared for us and we just had to colour the images, fussy cut them and then organise the card! :) This is Irina's design and all the products used on this card are already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:

I followed Irina's instructions for the card, except I did not pop up and use foam tape to adhere the front panel to the card - It was stinking hot here and I didn't want to go upstairs to my craft room to find some more foam tape! Anyway, here are a couple of photos from the two sides, so that you can see the dimension of the front and the inside:
