Welcome to my post about my card for the second challenge of 2021 for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.
Here is my card:
Unfortunately it is raining here quite a bit, so I haven't been able to take a good photo outside in the natural light, nor go upstairs to my craft room to see if there is an appropriate sentiment to add! But I will update if I can.

I chose the digital stamp Ice Cream Break from Lemon Shortbread which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card. I have fussy cut around my image, followed by colouring with the following Copics:
- skin - E000, E00, E21, E11
- hair - E33, E35, E37
- eyes/sunglasses - BG45, BG57
- pink - RV11, RV14, RV17, RV19
- flowers - Y17, B16, B93
- blue - B93, B95, B97, B99
- yellow - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
- ice blocks/reds - R32, R35, R37, R39
- greys - C0, C1, C3, C5, colourless blender
- background - BV0000, BV000, BV00
- outline - BV00
I have adhered the coloured image on to a square of paper from my stash that I outlined in Y17 and then on to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.
As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes. The background is actually a combination of a few different classes.
