I am a very slow this week, as I have been so busy at work and we are on school holidays, but I have finally managed to put a card together after letting the stickles and glossy accents dry.
The theme for this fortnight at Winter Wonderland is either heat or dry embossing - or both if you are feeling adventurous!
Please remember that it is Christmas Projects only and they must include the theme of embossing.
Here is my card:
Here is a close up of the colouring - hope that you can see the sparkle! :)

Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 2 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky. I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours. I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers. I had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I could gel with. January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so I drew some. I opened my shop a month later so I could sponsor challenges and give something back to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey. I've a Facebook group SheepSki Designs where I hold challenges, some for fun to win digis as well as my monthly card challenge. I've a SheepSki Designs challenge blog as well. Things are growing slowly (thankfully) so I still manage to spend at least a little time with my hubby Welcome to my world Andrea xx
Andrea is offering 3 images of choice for the random winner.
Back to my card......
I have digitally printed the wonderful Penguin Huddle by Andrea at SheepSki Designs on to X-Press It Blending Card, then used my Silhouette Cameo to fussy cut out the image. I have then coloured it with the following Copics Markers using some of the colouring tips/techniques and tricks from the monthly classes by the fantastic Alyce from Kit and Clowder:

- black of the penguins - W3, W5, W7, W9, white Prismacolour pencil
- "white" of the penguins - E40, E41, E43, W1, colourless blender
- cheeks of penguins - RV00, colourless blender
- beaks and feet of penguins - Y11, Y15, Y17, YR14, E15
- red of the hats and scarf - R22, R24, R29, R59
- green of the hats, ear muffs and scarf - YG03, G05, G07, G29
- white of the hats and ear muffs - Frosted Lace Stickles
- glasses of third penguin from the left - clear glossy accents
- background - C1, B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, white gel pen
- snow - B60, V01, V22, clear Wink of Stella
After I finished the colouring, I have embossed a piece of dark blue Core Couture Glitter card stock with a snowflake filled embossing folder called "Let it Snow" which was a freebie with a Quick Cards magazine. To make the snowflakes stand out a bit more I went over them with my white Prismacolour pencil. I adhered this embossed piece to one of my white cards from Envelope Solutions and then adhered my coloured Penguin Huddle on top.
Next, I used Versamark ink to stamp the sentiment "Let it Snow" from Let it Snow by The Greeting Farm on to vellum and then I used Wow! Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter and a heat gun. I cut out the sentiment and edged it with my B99 Copic Marker before adhering it to the card.
