New Christmas Cards

I finally splurged and bought a Silhouette Cameo die cutting machine.....wow what a machine!!
I also signed up for some classes on My Creative Classroom - one of them is making Christmas Cards using the Silhouette. Here is the link to the class: Creative Silhouette Series: Christmas Cards (Oct 30th) - Christine Ousley (Silhouette Christmas Cards - Fall)

So here are the first of my cards:

In the class, the lovely Christine used a Christmas title that she had bought from the Silhouette shop, but as I am already very familiar with making my own titles and such with Photoshop Elements and because I was not really sure on the whole commercial use vs. personal use in the Silhouette shop, I decided to make my own title. I used Rockwell Extra Bold font for the title.
I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut the title out of two different papers from Handmade Holiday paper by Simple Stories.
I then offset the title and welded the letters to make the card base. The card base is cut out of some kraft card stock by Francheville.

I have attached the paper to the card and then outlined the letters with Chocolate Spica pen.

For the holly, I downloaded an image from Birdhouse Stamps, welded three berries together then had the Silhouette cut three holly leaves and the berries out of Christmas card stock by AC Cardstock.

For both sizes I have handmade envelopes from recycled kraft wrapping paper. I adhered some cardstock and/or the same plaid paper to the inside of the envelope to make it stronger and add colour.

All will be for sale on Etsy in my shop: JemLou Productions. Link for the small cards, link for the big cards.

Hope you have an enjoyable Tuesday - we have Melbourne Cup Holiday here.
Thanks for looking!
