As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes.

Here is a close-up of the colouring :

As I was trying to take the photo of the finished card, a particular kitty was showing a lot of interest!!
This is William :)

Pattieboop & Allie on Safari - Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #121 for the 5th of January, 2020

Hi All!
Welcome to my post about my card for the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge Blog.
Here is my card:

The sponsor for this challenge is:
CLICK HERE TO VISIT MY STORE

Pattie's Creations store link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/pattiescreations
and Pattie's Creations blog link: http://pattiescreationschallenge.blogspot.com/

and the prize is 2 images from their shop.

I was given Pattieboop & Allie on Safari. I had a quick look at Pattie's Creations website and found Pattieboop's story, but I didn't realise that Allie was a beautiful Siamese looking cat! So in my image Allie is dressed up as a lion!
Anyway, I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card and then cut out using my paper cutter. Then I have coloured with the following Copics:
  • Pattieboop's skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, R30, RV55
  • Pattieboop's hair - E23, E09, YR18
  • Pattieboop's clothes - E31, E33, E35
  • Allie aka lion - Y32, Y15, YR14
  • Allie's hat - E31, E33, E35
  • monkey - E41, E44, E47, R30, RV55, white gel pen
  • giraffe - E50, Y23, Y32, Y26, E55, R30
  • jeep - E81, E84, E87, E44
  • jeep tyres - C3, C5, C7, C9
  • jeep lights - E84, C00, C0, C1, C3, clear and silver Wink of Stella
  • road - E43, E44, E57
  • bushes - YG63, G94, G99
  • tree foliage - YG13, YG25, YG63, G94, G99
  • mountains - E71, E93
  • sky - R30, Y32, colourless blender
  • outline - E57
I have adhered the coloured image on to a square Kraft card from Envelope Solutions and kept it very simple, but asked my daughter if she could think of a sentiment for the card and she came up with the "Go Wild" theme. So I have stamped "Go Wild" and "It's your day" from Go Wild by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy in Rich Cocoa Memento ink using my MISTI (which I now have to fight my daughter to use!)

The bushes, tree, sky and the giraffe colouring came from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes - this one is from the September 2018 Monthly Class.

Here is a close-up of the colouring :

I have also stamped "Happy Birthday" using the Rich Cocoa Memento ink on the inside of the card. This sentiment is also from Go Wild by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy.
