December 2020 Not Just Cards Challenge for 11th of December, 2020

Not Just Cards is having a new challenge this month. The theme for the December 2020 Challenge is as usual: "ANYTHING GOES".
To join in the fun, click on the following link:

Here is my colouring for this month!

I created a slimline card using the hedgehogs from the awesome Club La-La Land Crafts October 2020 kit from La-La Land Crafts. I stamped the 4 hedgehogs on to X-Press It Blending card with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

I have used the following Copics markers:
  • hedgehog quills - E44, E25, E29, E49
  • hedgehog body - E40, E41, E43, E44, R20
  • hedgehog nose - E31, E33, E35
  • apple - R24, R27, R39, YG03, YG67
  • pie - E51, E53, E55
  • pie dish - YG03, YG25, YG67
  • background - BV000
  • sky - V01, BV000, BV00, B91, colourless blender
  • grass - YG61, YG63, YG67, colourless blender
I also used the Apple Orchard die from the same kit and die cut some green card stock and red shimmer paper for the apples. I then coloured the fence and the tree trunks in one of the brown Copic pens (can't remember which). I adhered the apple orchard on to the slimline card and adhered the apples to the trees, as well as on to the grass.
I fussy cut out the hedgehog images and adhered the two middle ones with foam squares and the two outer ones with wobblers to a white slimline card from Envelope Solutions
The sentiment was stamped in Elderberry Memento ink.
I have of course drawn inspiration for the colouring from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her Kit and Clowder Monthly Colouring Classes. I also draw inspiration from the La-La Land Crafts blog.

Here are the close-ups of the hedgehogs:

I made a movie of the little hedgehogs wobbling, which I will post on Facebook - check back here for the link, or go to the Facebook page of JemLou Productions.

Our sponsor for this challenge is SheepSki Designs:

Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant, currently working on 2 design teams and an obsessive crafter and creator of cards. I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky. I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours. I love anything arty. I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember. In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings. I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers. I had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I could gel with.

In January 2016 a challenge team I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey. I've a Facebook group SheepSki Designs where I hold challenges, some for fun to win digis as well as my monthly card challenge. I've a SheepSki Designs challenge blog as well. Things are growing slowly (thankfully) so I still manage to spend at least a little time with my hubby. Welcome to my world Andrea xx

And the prize on offer for the winner is - 3 images of their choice

I chose Catch for my image, which I digitally printed on to X-Press It blending card and then cut out using my paper cutter.

October 2020 Not Just Cards Challenge for the 11th of October, 2020

It is my birthday today!! :) which is one of the reasons I am late - we also were away this week enjoying a school holiday break down at the beach! So I started a pencil colouring project while I was down there (as it rained a few days) but I didn't finish it, so I quickly did something else!!
Anyway.....

Not Just Cards is having a new challenge this month. The theme for the October 2020 Challenge is as usual: "ANYTHING GOES".
To join in the fun, click on the following link:

Here is my colouring and card for this month!

I have been "collecting" a few items from the awesome SSE bundles from the marvellous Irina at La-La Land Crafts. I have used the Three Pockets Die set to cut some X-Press It Blending card and then stamped part of the Floribunda stamp and Humming Bird from the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy Stamps using Memento London Fog ink and my MISTI. I then stamped the pocket stitches (using Elderberry Memento ink) and Birthday wishes (using Nautical Blue Memento ink) from the A Pocket Full Clear Stamp Set, also from La-La Land Crafts.

I have used the following Copics markers:
  • humming bird - Y11, YG00, YG06, B00, B12, B24, B28, V01, V04, E40, E41, E43, C1, C3, C5, C9, 100, white gel pen
  • leaves - G14, G07, G28
  • honeysuckle (or are they lupines?) - Rv21, RV23, RV25, RV29, E93, white gel pen
  • primrose - Y11, Y15, Y38, YR16
  • morning glory - BV00, V04, V06, V09
  • dahlia - RV00, RV63, RV04, RV34, RV21
  • background - G000, G00, G02
I have adhered the pockets and humming bird to a square card from Envelope Solutions. The pocket can accommodate a gift card!
I have of course drawn inspiration for the colouring from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her May 2019 Kit and Clowder Monthly Colouring Class. I have also drawn inspiration from the La-La Land Crafts blog.

Here are the close-ups of the images from the hummingbird and the pocket:

Also, since we have been back, William has not really left my side! So of course he was getting in the way as I was taking photos:

I would like to enter this into a few challenges:
