Dancing Penguin - Colour Crazy Challenge for 28th of September, 2018

Over at Colour Crazy Challenge it is ANYTHING GOES, as usual!

This week, we are very kindly sponsored by "Fred She Said"!

I have used Dancing Penguin to make my card:

I digitally printed the stamp on X-Press It Blending card, then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut it out.
I then coloured with the following Copics Markers:
  • black of penguin - C5, C7, C9, C10
  • white of penguin - C00, C0, C1, colourless blender
  • feet and beak of penguin - YR12, YR14, YR18
  • white of hat - C00, C0, C1, colourless blender, clear Wink of Stella
  • red of hat - R32, R35, R37
  • bell - Y23, Y26, Y28, clear Wink of Stella
  • snow - C00, C0, C1, BV0000, colourless blender, clear Wink of Stella
  • background - B0000, B000, B00

I embossed a white square card from Envelope Solutions with a snowflake embossing folder that was a freebie from Quick Cards.
Then I adhered the coloured image to the card.

Season's Tweetings - The Merry Christmas Challenge for September 2018

Hi Everyone!
This is the first time that I am posting as part of The Merry Christmas Challenge blog!
It is great that I get to use all my Christmas crafty items at least once a month!
The theme is ANYTHING CHRISTMAS!
Your projects can be cards, tags, scrapbook layouts, wreaths or other Christmas projects.

So here is my latest Christmas card:

I have used Chickadee in Barberry from the lovely Marcella at Power Poppy. I have digitally printed the stamp on to X-Press It Blending Card and then used my Silhouette Cameo to fussy cut it.
I have used the following Copics:
  • Chickadee - E40, E43, E23, E37, W1, W3, W5, W7, Copic multiliner, pitch black Spica pen, white gel pen
  • Berries - R14, R17
  • Leaves - YG91, G82, YG99
  • Branches - E74, E77
  • Snow - C1, BV000, colourless blender, clear Spica pen
  • Background - BG000, BG02

Here is a close up of the colouring:

I have adhered the coloured Chickadee to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
The sentiment and musical notes are from Tweet Tidings again from Power Poppy. I stamped them using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and my MISTI!

Of course, I need to give a shout out to the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder. Also a shout out to Amy Shulke at Vanilla Arts - her Red Bird class is awesome!

Well I thought I was going really well this week, but work and the kids have been all consuming and I have been tired, so I am a little late for my Winter Wonderland card this fortnight.
This fortnight, we are hosted by Janice, who has chosen the theme:

Not Just Cards September 2018 Challenge

Not Just Cards is having a new challenge starting today the 11th of September!
The theme for the September 2018 Challenge is "Anything Goes".
To join in the fun, click on the following link:

I finished colouring this image a while ago for my son Christofer to put on his door as he loves Firemen and Fire Engines - typical little boy!
I just need to frame it and write his name.
I am also colouring an image of a ballerina for my daughter Abigayle, as she loves dancing.

Both of these images are part of the monthly classes from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder.

The firemen is from La-La Land Crafts - Fireman Luka.

Here are a few progression shots:
