Christmas Kitty from All Dressed Up Stamps for Winter Wonderland on the 2nd of September, 2022

I am a little posting as it has just been a crazy week - I finished my card, but then totally forgot to send the image to be posted.

Anyway, at Winter Wonderland this month, we are hosted by me!!

Welcome to our eighth challenge for 2022.

Our theme is:

Christmas Animals

So here is my project:

Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme of Christmas Animals.

Our sponsor for this challenge is All Dressed Up:

Here's a bit about All Dressed Up:

Hi, my name's Wendy, founder of All Dressed Up. I live in Nottingham UK with my husband and two children (my inspiration behind the characters) - in particular, my daughter who has kept me up-to-date with trends and all things digital.

Day to day, I work as a textile designer working traditionally within childrenswear, fashion and interiors. Although my work is mostly digital, my work process remains hand-drawn which I hope comes across in my artwork.

All Dressed Up was created in 2013 as a place to share my digital stamps which back then was a whole new challenge for me. Since, I've been lucky to have discovered a whole creative community and welcomed the All Dressed Up design team who have been amazing to work with. Through our online community and Instagram, the team keep me on my toes to keep on drawing, creating and inspiring. My favourite thing is seeing how my characters are continually given brand new personalities!

On our Facebook and Instagram page we host regular tutorials, challenges (and freebies!) and is the real heart of our community. The stamps are available from the All Dressed Up Etsy shop which is continually updated on a monthly basis with lots of limited edition and seasonal stamps available in particular.

The All Dressed Up community is a friendly bunch (if I do say so myself!) and we would love for you to get involved, see your work and for you to share your stamping tips too! Do get in contact and be sure to visit our Facebook and Instagram pages to see what we're creating at the moment.

I chose two images for the team Meowy Christmas and Christmas Kitty and then chose Christmas Kitty from the wonderful Wendy at All Dressed Up Stamps, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It blending card and then used my paper cutter to cut around the image after I have coloured it with the following Copics markers:
  • kitty - C00, C0, C1, C2, R20
  • red - R24, R27, R46, R89
  • green - YG03, YG25, YG17, YG09
  • acorns - Y21, YR23, E33
  • yellow - YR23
  • outline - YG09

I have also added a bit of sparkle with clear Wink of Stella and silver glitter pen, which you can see on the close-up:

I adhered it to a square white card from Envelope Solutions.

As usual, I have drawn some inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her awesomMonthly Classes and Bonus Classes.

Reindeer for Winter Wonderland Challenge on the 5th of August, 2022

At Winter Wonderland this month, we are hosted by Dawn!

Welcome to our seventh challenge for 2022.

Our theme is:

Reindeer

So here is my project:

Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme of Reindeer.

We do not have a sponsor for this challenge.

I have been looking at all the freebies I receive with my cardmaking magazines and I chose to use one of those for this challenge - I am not sure which magazine this is from, but I have die cut the Scandi-style heart die from red cardstock multiple times. I punched out all the pieces and then glued the heart on to a small white square card from Envelope Solutions. I then added two reindeers either side of the heart.

I then used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment from Happiest of Holidays Clear Stamp set by La-La Land Crafts in Love Letter Memento ink.

Here is a close-up of the freebie:

I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
