Skateboard Little Dudes for Colour Crazy Challenge for the 16th of August, 2019

At Colour Crazy Challenge for the 16th of August, we are sponsored by Polkadoodles and the image that I chose was Skateboard Little Dudes, which also comes with digital paper.

So I made a card for my 10 year old son - I'll probably give it to him for his birthday next year as he is totally into skateboarding!

As I mentioned, the sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles.

I have digitally printed the skateboard little dudes and the sentiments on to X-Press It Blending card and then cut him out with my paper cutter.
I have coloured him with the following Copics markers:

  • skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04
  • hair - E50, E53, E55, E57
  • hat - R22, R24, R27, R59, colourless blender on nappy!
  • backpack - V12, V15, V17, BV17, R59
  • t-shirt - BG72, BG75, BG78
  • skateboard - Y23, Y35, Y38, YR27
  • wheels of skateboard - YG13, YG07
  • jeans - B93, B95, B97, B99
  • shoes - B93, B95, B97, B99, R22, R24, R27, R59
  • laces - R59
  • ground - C-1, C-3, C-5
  • background - BG0000, BG000, BG01, BG02
  • outline - BG02
I had the papers that come with skateboard little dudes printed out at Officeworks and then have cut them to fit the white card from Envelope Solutions and using the sketch #165 from Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2:
I changed it up slightly, as my image was the longer piece, I cut the paper to fit the rest of the sketch and outlined each piece with Teal Zeal Memento ink.
The flower is represented by the ticket, which I have coloured with BG72, BG75, BG78 and outlined with Teal Zeal Memento ink.
I also added the sentiment that was coloured just with BG72 and outlined with BG78.
Everything was adhered to the card using double-sided tape.

Here is a close-up of the colouring:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Classic DT Open Challenge August #8 - Anything Goes as long as for DT project

Christmas Ornaments Challenge for Winter Wonderland for the 2nd of August, 2019

Hi!
At Winter Wonderland this month, we are hosted by Narelle, who has chosen the theme:
Christmas Ornaments!
I immediately think of tinsel! But that is hard to colour - should ask Alyce at Kit and Clowder about that one!! :)
So other ornaments are baubles, stars, lights, holly and anything else that you would use to decorate with during the festive season.
We have a new house this year for Christmas and I have already started thinking about how we will decorate the house and all the trees in the front yard! Also need to start thinking about decorating inside the house too!

Anyway, that is still a few months away!
So on to my card:

Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme.

We are sponsored this month by....

The prize on offer for the challenge winner is:
two digital stamps from LeAnn's World 101 Etsy shop

So back to my card:
I digitally printed Decorating LeAnn on to X-Press It blending card, which I then cut out using a KaiserCraft nesting square decorative die.
I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • skin - E000. E00, E21, E11, E04
  • eyes - G21, G07, G28
  • lips - RV63, RV66
  • hair - E50, E53, E55
  • dress - B12, B14, B16, B18
  • stocking - R32, R35, R37, G000, YG13, G17, C0, C1, silver Wink of Stella
  • candy cane - R35, R37, R39, G000, YG13, G17
  • holly - R32, R35, R37, G000, YG13, G17
  • gingerbread man - E21, E33, E23, R35, R37, G000, YG13, G17, 100
  • string - BG78
  • baubles - B63, B66, B69, RV13, RV17, RV19, Y28, white gel pen
  • background - BV000, BV00, BV01, BV02
  • outline - BV02

The sentiment is from New Year's Eve Marci from La-La Land Crafts, although I think it is not really available anymore - I digitally printed the sentiment on to X-Press It blending card, then used a die edge and my paper cutter to cut it out. I have then coloured it with BV00 and then outlined with BV02.
I have stamped a border from Snuggle Down from Power Poppy using my MISTI and Elderberry Memento ink on to a white card from Envelope Solutions.
Then I have adhered the sentiment and coloured image to the card using double-sided tape.

Here is a close-up of the colouring:

I will add this card to the following challenges:
The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #53 - Anything Christmas Goes - My Christmas Building card won in the last challenge! So now I can display this badge:
