I am Guest DT at Try Stampin' on Tuesday - they are a sketch challenge with an optional twist.
So here is my card for challenge #TSOT422:
The sketch is:
I have actually turned the sketch around a bit and also used the inspiration of the cake.
The stamps that I have used are from Tea in the Garden from the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy. I have stamped them using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card.
I have also stamped the sentiment on to the X-Press It card, using Elderberry Memento ink.
The images have been coloured with the following Copics markers:
- strawberries - R20, R22, R24, R27, R29, G12, G05, G28
- cake stand - G000, G00, G20
- flower centres - Y15
- mint - G14, G17, G19
- straw - BV0000, BV000, BV00
- ice - BG0000, B00, Y0000
- lemons - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
- spoon, C00, C0, C1, C2, C3
- flowers - YR21, YR24, Y15, G14, G17
- jug/jar/juice - Y0000, Y000, YG00, G000, G00, G20
- cake - E23, E25, E27, E29
- icing - Y32, YR12
- serviette/doily - BV0000, BV31
- cup - B00, B12, B14, B16, white gel pen
- circle outline around cup - BV25
- background - BV00, BG000, BG01, BG02
- outline - BV00
On to a white square card from Envelope Solutions, I have adhered a couple of strips of striped Chiyogami paper from Daiso Japan - although I made a total mess of the glue to stick it down and this was actually the second attempt! Then I have stamped over the top using the Elderberry Memento ink with one of the borders from Snuggle Down, another set from Power Poppy. I adhered the coloured image using double-sided tape, then I have finished off with three blue sequins adhered using clear Stickles.
Here is a close-up of the colouring:
