The challenge for this week at Winter Wonderland, chosen by Anet is
ADD SOME SPARKLE
To be in with a chance of winning a prize, remember that it is Christmas Projects only.
This week our wonderful sponsors are:
Crafty Sentiments Designs, who are offering the winner their choice of 3 digis from their store
and
The Craft Barn, who are offering a 10 pound voucher to spend in their store
I have printed the digital stamp "Snowman at the Window" by Crafty Sentiments Designs on to X-Press It card. Then I had my Silhouette Cameo cut a curvy tag shape from Love Paper Crafts (although I can't seem to find it on their site any more).
I used the following Copics pens to colour the snowman:
I used the following Copics pens to colour the snowman:
- hat: C-3, C-7, C-9
- scarf: R32, R35, R37
- snowman: C-1, B000, R20, YR07
- tree: YG13, G07, YG97, Y17
- background: B000
I also added some sparkle on the hat using black Wink of Stella and on the red hat band, nose and star using clear Wink of Stella.
I added some green ribbon from my stash and adhered the tag to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions. I stamped the "merry christmas" sentiment from Toboggan Together by Lawn Fawn in Bamboo leaves from Memento.
To add some more sparkle, I stamped two snowflakes randomly across the card from Let it Snow by The Greeting Farm in VersaMark ink, then sprinkled and heat embossed Vanilla Sparkle embossing powder by Alison Ellis Design.
For this card I was inspired by the current Tag You're It challenge.
Also I found another challenge from Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - Tag It.
There is inspiration from the Snowflakes DT on the Winter Wonderland blog, so please pop over to everyone's blog by clicking on their name. We always appreciate a comment or two! :) You can also find out what other challenges are out there, which could give you ideas for your Christmas Card stash.
Thanks for looking!
