Nuthatch by Fred She Said for the Winter Wonderland Challenge on the 3rd of June, 2022

 

At Winter Wonderland this month, we are hosted by Christine!

Welcome to our fifth challenge for 2022.

Our theme is:

Flying High at Christmas

So here is my project:

We had a choice of two images and I chose the image Nuthatch Digi, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It blending card and then coloured it with the following Copics markers:
  • bird brown - E40, E41, E43, E44, E47, E49
  • bird red - R24, R27, R39, R59
  • bird beak - C5, C7, C9
  • bird eye - white gel pen
  • pine needles - YG03, YG09, YG67, Twinkle Stickles
  • pine cone - E43, E44, E47, E49, Twinkle Stickles and Frosted Lace Stickles
  • outline - YG09
I cut the image with my paper cutter and adhered it on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Monthly Classes and Bonus Classes from the awesome Alyce at Kit and Clowder.

Wheelbarrow from Fred She Said for the Little Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #175 on the 6th of February, 2022

I chose to use the Wheelbarrow Digi, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card, I have then coloured with the following Copics:
  • blue - B0000, B000, B00
  • purple - V22, V25, V28
  • pink - R83, R85, R89
  • green - G03, G05, G09
  • yellow - Y11, Y15, Y17
  • wheelbarrow - E23, E25, E27, E29
  • wheel - C0, C1, C3
  • dirt - E30, E31, E33, E35
  • grass - G03, G05, G09
  • outline - V28
I have adhered the coloured image on to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.

I have added the sentiment "Hello Friend" on to the front and "I've been thinking about you" on the inside of the card using Nautical Blue Memento ink. Both sentiments are from Dynamic Duos: Foxglove & Ranunculus by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Kitty and the Ornament by Fred She Said for Little Patch of Crafty Friends #171 on the 5th of December, 2021

I chose Kitty & the Ornament, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card. I have used my paper cutter to cut around my image, followed by colouring with the following Copics:

  • ornament - B12, B14, B16, B18, gold glitter pen
  • background - BG0000, BG000, B00
  • grounding - BV0000, BV000, BV00

Pine Cone Spray by Fred She Said for Winter Wonderland on the 1st of October 2021

Welcome to our tenth challenge for 2021.

So here is my card:

Janice selected the following images to be used by the Winter Wonderland team...
 Pine Cone Spray and Poinsettia and Holly 


I chose one of the images from Pine Cone Spray, which I have digitally printed on to X-Press It blending card and then cut out using my scissors (I'm getting into fussy cutting!!)

I have coloured the image with the following Copics markers:
  • pine cone - E44, E47, E49
  • pine needles - G03, YG09, YG67
  • sparkle/snow - Twinkle Stickles
  • background - BG000
I then adhered the coloured image on to a Kraft square card from Envelope Solutions.
I have stamped a sentiment from Tweet Tidings by the wonderful Marcella at Power Poppy in Rich Cocoa Memento ink using my MISTI.

As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Monthly Classes and Bonus Classes from the awesome Alyce at Kit and Clowder.

Winter Birds Blue Tit from Fred She Said for Tribute Challenge at Winter Wonderland on the 5th of February, 2021

Fred She Said Easter Chick - Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #127 for the 1st of March, 2020

I chose the Easter Chicky Digi set which I have combined 3 chickies and some flowers from the set and then digitally printed on to X-Press It Blending Card. I have cut a frame around my image with my paper cutter, followed by colouring with the following Copics:
  • chickies - Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17
  • shells - B12, B14, B16, B18, RV17
  • flowers - RV10, RV14, RV17, RV19
  • flower centres - YR24, YR27
  • leaves - G00, G14, G17
  • background - BV0000, BV000, BV00, BV02, colourless blender
  • outline - BV02
I have adhered the coloured image on to a white square card from Envelope Solutions. Then coloured (B16, BV02, Wink of Stella) and adhered the sentiment from Waiter, There's a Parakeet in My Teacup stamp set by the awesome Marcella at Power Poppy.

Dancing Penguin - Colour Crazy Challenge for 28th of September, 2018

Over at Colour Crazy Challenge it is ANYTHING GOES, as usual!

This week, we are very kindly sponsored by "Fred She Said"!

I have used Dancing Penguin to make my card:


I digitally printed the stamp on X-Press It Blending card, then used my Silhouette Cameo to cut it out.
I then coloured with the following Copics Markers:
  • black of penguin - C5, C7, C9, C10
  • white of penguin - C00, C0, C1, colourless blender
  • feet and beak of penguin - YR12, YR14, YR18
  • white of hat - C00, C0, C1, colourless blender, clear Wink of Stella
  • red of hat - R32, R35, R37
  • bell - Y23, Y26, Y28, clear Wink of Stella
  • snow - C00, C0, C1, BV0000, colourless blender, clear Wink of Stella
  • background - B0000, B000, B00

I embossed a white square card from Envelope Solutions with a snowflake embossing folder that was a freebie from Quick Cards.
Then I adhered the coloured image to the card.
