At Colour Crazy Challenge we are being sponsored by Oddball Stamps and the image I chose was Lazy Louise N Bath Time Bubble Friends - quite ironic considering I haven't had a bath in years, but our new house has a bath tub in the ensuite bathroom - although, we are in the midst of painting the pink tiles and changing the fittings. We have a lovely shower screen already to be fitted, but the tile painting is taking a while in this cold wintery weather!
Anyway, back to my card!
I have digitally printed Lazy Louise on to X-Press It Blending card and then because my Silhouette Cameo is not hooked up to my computer at the moment, I have just cut out the image with my paper cutter. Although I had to trim it with my fussy cutting scissors.
I have used the following Copics markers to colour Louise:
- skin - E000, E00, E21, E11, E04
- lips - RV63, RV66
- eyes - BG75, BG78
- hair - Y21, YR23, E33, E35
- bathtub - BV0000, BV00, BV01, BV04, BV08, white gel pen
- bubbles/water - B0000, BG10, clear Wink of Stella
- background - W1, W3, W5, C0, C1, C3
- outline - BG78
I have gone pretty simple and CAS with the design of the card. I used two sentiments from Good Thinking: Renewal by Power Poppy. I stamped one with Nautical Blue Memento ink and the other with Elderberry Memento ink using my MISTI.
The white square card is from Envelope Solutions.
