I have been missing in action these past months as there have been some big changes in our lives! We bought a house...in Adelaide! So late last year and most of the first few months of this year, we have been busy moving 800 km to our new home. Abigayle and Christofer have settled in well to a new school and love their new house. I am busy looking for a new job, as is Jeremy, although he has been busy renovating the new house. In the next few weeks I'll be updating our family website - zieseniss.ws, so you can all see our wonderful home and the wonderful view and birdlife that we have in our backyard!
Anyway, I have finally managed to organise my craft stuff enough to get back into colouring and start making some new cards!
The first one of the year is for Winter Wonderland June Challenge which is use Red and Green.
Anyway, I have finally managed to organise my craft stuff enough to get back into colouring and start making some new cards!
The first one of the year is for Winter Wonderland June Challenge which is use Red and Green.
So here is my card:
I was writing this after busily colouring the images all afternoon and totally forgot that it was Red and Green - luckily I have used a little red and green on the pots and the background is blue-green! So I have added a bit more red and green on the actual card with the Washi tape and sentiment.
Helen is hosting us this month at Winter Wonderland and as I mentioned, the theme is Use RED and GREEN.
Please remember that it is Christmas projects only and they must include the theme.
We are sponsored this month by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps
Prize for the winner is 2 digis of the winner's choice

So back to my card:
I digitally printed The Last Tree in the Shop on to X-Press It blending card, which I then had my Silhouette Cameo cut out. I have coloured the images with the following Copics markers:
- tree - E71, E74, E77
- star - Y32, YR15, clear Wink of Stella
- baubles - Y28, BV000, BV01, BV04, V12, V15, V17, clear Wink of Stella
- "soil" - E99
- base - R22, R24, R27, G02, G05, G07
- background - BG000, BG10, BG13
I have attached my coloured image on to a Kraft card from Envelope Solutions.
Then I stamped the sentiment Warmest Holiday Wishes from Let Your Heart Be Light at Power Poppy using Love Letter Memento Ink and my MISTI.
Then I added a strip of Washi tape from my stash with some green trees.
Here is a close-up of the colouring:
