Winter Houses for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #69 on the 1st of July 2026

Hi All!

We are just back from the Pichi Richi Marathon last weekend, I ran the 5 km and finished first in my age group! Although I don't think that there were many 5 k runners! My husband ran the half marathon, his first in along time! He was happy with his run given that he is carrying a calf injury.
Anyway, for challenge #69 for July/August 2026 of the
Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, I
made a card based on one that has been shown during one of the Virtual Workshops by La-La Land Crafts!

So, here is my card for this month:

All of the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
I have die cut a piece of the Christmas Eve Paper Pack using the two smallest of the Postage Rectangles Die, then I have die cut a piece of matte silver cardstock with the largest. I cut a piece of silver cardstock slightly larger than the largest postage rectangle.
The sentiment label was already die cut from Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die using white cardstock. The sentiment was stamped using Elderberry Memento ink.

To make the card, I adhered the large matte silver rectangle to the larger silver rectangle. I then adhered the larger rectangle of the Christmas Eve Paper Pack on to the matte silver cardstock. I popped up the smaller rectangles of Christmas Eve Paper Pack with foam tape and also popped up the sentiment with foam tape. The large silver rectangle was then adhered to a black card from my stash.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

Quiet Christmas Magic with Pooh and Piglet for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #68 on the 1st of May 2026

Hi All!

The start of May is a busy time for us here in Adelaide - we have the Adelaide Marathon on Sunday the 3rd and my son's 17th Birthday is on the 7th! Can't believe he is 17 years old already - where has my little boy gone?
Anyway, for challenge #68 for May/June 2026 of the
Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, I
made a card that is a combination of a couple of cards from workshops by La-La Land Crafts and also an image that I had already coloured from La-La Land Crafts!

So, here is my card for this month:

I based my design on a card from the Winnie the Pooh Holiday Cards Workshop (I can't see that on the website anymore), as well as a card from the Winnie the Pooh Virtual Card Class (on the website). All of the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
Pooh and Piglet were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the Copics (I have forgotten which!) The image was fussy cut.

Here is a photo of the image in the midst of fussy cutting:

I have die cut a piece of the Christmas Eve Paper Pack using the largest of the Postage Rectangles Die, then I have die cut it with the third largest Stitched Tags Die.
I die cut the third largest Scalloped Tags Die in gold cardstock and adhered that to the Stitched Tag piece.
I die cut the moon from Crescent Moon Die and stars from North Star Die in gold cardstock, then the cloud from Crescent Moon Die and trees from Winter Circle Die in white cardstock. The sentiment label was already die cut from Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die using white cardstock. The sentiment was stamped using Elderberry Memento ink.

Here is a photo of everything laid out before it was adhered to the card:

To make the card, I adhered the outside piece of the Postage Rectangles on to a white card from Envelope Solutions. I popped up the tag with foam tape and adhered it to the centre, then adhered the trees, moon, cloud and stars to the tag. Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are popped up with foam tape, as is the sentiment label. I finished the card using sequins from the La-La Land Crafts Winnie the Pooh workshop.

Here is another photo of the finished card:

Snowman Christmas Tags for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #67 on the 1st of March 2026

Hi All!

I still can't believe that it is the beginning of March 2026, how has January and February disappeared so quickly?!
Anyway, for challenge #67 for March/April 2026 of the
Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog, I
made a couple of tags using some die cuts and images that I had already coloured from La-La Land Crafts!

Here are my tags for this month:

Then each tag individually:

All of the products used on these tags are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
The snowmen were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the Copics (I have forgotten which!) The images were fussy cut and attached to the tags with foam tape.

I have used the glittery enamel dots.

The sentiments were stamped using Nautical Blue Memento ink, then distressed on the edges with my scissors. I have finished the tags with twine from my stash.

Deck The Palms for Merry Little Christmas Challenge #61 on the 1st of March 2025

For challenge #61 for March/April 2025 of the Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog I used some of my products from La-La Land Crafts and based the design off a card that I created from the La-La Land Crafts Colour & Create Virtual Retreat in early February!

Here is my card for this month:

and here is a photo from the side:

This is Martha's design and all the products used on this card are actually already released in the La-La Land Crafts Shop, so the products are:
The three Santas and palm tree were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to X-Press It Blending card and coloured with the following Copics:
  • skin - E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
  • red - R22, R24, R29, R39
  • turquoise - BG11, BG13, BG18
  • white/grey - W0, W1, W3, W5
  • palm tree - E40, E41, E43, E44
  • palm leaves - YG21, YG23, YG17
  • drink - RV63, RV66
I used B01 between Santa's legs and between the leaves of the palm tree, then I used glossy accents on the glasses, floatie and lights on the palm tree, then White Blizzard nuvo glitter drops on the Santa hats. As usual, I have taken inspiration from the wonderful Alyce at Kit and Clowder and her fantastic monthly classes and bonus classes.

Here is a close up photo of the coloured images before I adhered them to the card:

I followed Martha's card design - I used vintage photo, tumbled glass and salty ocean Distress Oxide ink for the inside of the rum bottle and just the vintage photo for the sand.
I cut out some of the palm trees from the Summer Vacation Paper and then popped them up with foam tape, as was the sun. The inside of the rum bottle and Santas on the front were also popped up with foam tape. The palm tree was adhered to the card with Art Glitter glue.
I stamped the two sentiments on to white cardstock using Onyx Black Versafine ink and then the sentiments and black matting pieces were distressed with my scissors (even though I have a distressing tool somewhere!)
The sentiment on the front of the card was popped up and everything on the inside of the card was adhered with Art Glitter glue.

Here is a photo of the inside with the card flat:

Here is another photo of the finished card:
